12 oz bottle and served in my GI IPA Tulip: Pours a light copper, deep golden hue with a creamy head and very nice lace. The aroma is heavy dank and resiny hops, plenty of pine. mango and grapefruit esters along with some clove. I bit metallic and astringent as well. What little malt you can find is somewhat biscuity and a hint of caramel. The taste is more of the same, heavy hop bitterness with a fair amount of citrus and hop spice. I actually got a bit more malt then I would have guessed but still not enough to make this beer remotely balanced. Extreme metal and band-aid aftertaste then add the biting alcohol. Yep, the mouth feel is aggressive and sharp but the finish is a tad too much, reducing the enjoyment of drinking this beer. Neato to try, would not buy another. omegamike (152) - York, North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2012
Smells wonderfully piney and savoury. The malt pokes through a little too. Overwhelmingly flavours of pine, strong crystal malt biscuit, straw, some sweat. Delicious but a little too intense for one man alone - I’d recommend tag teaming this one, because it is too tasty for a 10% beer. Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAY 20, 2012
33cl bottle pours slightly hazy copper with gold hues and thin dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up pine hops, earthy hops, spicy hops and a black pepperiness. Around the edges it seems floral and a touch soapy. The taste has a big spicy to pine bitterness going on that is rimmed by a nice level of dank hop earthiness and then faint hints of floral hops. This is tasting real good with robust levels of both bitter and flavor hops creating a rich experience. It ends with lingering hop bitterness. I dig it. 14 karat pour with a small ivory head. Aroma and flavor are extremely leafy, resinous, and sappy. Evergreen-laden, tangerine-filled, and pithy. Bitter, dank, but drinkable. Didn’t get the eye-crossing alcohol pop that I was expecting at 10%. Pretty damn good. Lilja (3183) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAY 19, 2012
Mycket smak av humle och en angenäm beska. Smak av tropisk frukt, grape. Lite oljig i konsistensen. Trevlig.

Small white head. Hazy deep yellow body with particles. Deep tropical fruit and apricot aroma with orange marmalade and resin notes. Bitter-sweet orangey resin taste with tropical fruit notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, hot mouthfeel. Dry orangey mineraly aftertaste with chalky mealy notes. Nice, but unbalanced. (0.33l bottle. I failed to note who from.) gunnar (9098) - Sandnes, NORWAY - MAY 18, 2012
On tap at Bishops Arms, Copenhagen. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Fruity hop aroma extravaganza, lemons and pine. Taste is raw, resiny bitter, whole pinecones, lingering bitter and fresh finish. HoooHooray

11.2 oz bottle: pours clear, deep golden orange, fluffy, fine off white head. Fair amount of lacing. Nose is grapefruit, apricot, herbal, caramel malts, resin hops. More of the same on the palate, fluffy, bubbles coming to the surface, thick. Spicy, resinous hops and huge alcohol burn on a huge finish that lingers. Sweet then spicy. Real nice.

[5/14/12] Draught at The Bishops Arms in Copenhagen. Clear deep golden-copper. Aroma of piney and resinous hops, somewhat citric, with a bit of alcohol. Flavor has some thick malt and some sweetness and finishes bitter, hoppy, grapefruity and alcoholic. Medium-bodied, a bit oily. Quite good, a bit malty for my liking.
