4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a deep copper with a thick lasting head. Aroma is grapefruit and caramel. Pretty sweet for an IPA, I appreciate the malt backbone. Bitterness is mild for an IPA and is overall well balanced. Has a medium body with average carbonation, not as thin as typical IPAs which I appreciate. The finish is bitter and lasts awhile. I’m not sure how fresh it was coming from europe so maybe some of the hoppiness has faded, but it is still a solid IPA. Can’t go wrong with amarillo.
translucent yellow-orange color with persistent white foam. Aromas of sweet malts fatty hops, herbaceous, pine, menthol and licorice. Also malty sweet flavors and slight presence of tropical fruit, hints of orange, tangerine, mango, peach and bitter touches something oily and fatty. Bitter not very intense but persistent. Demedio to paste something intense body. 20107589 (748) - randers, DENMARK - MAR 27, 2015

As goes for all the Hop Series beers I’ve tasted: the bottles were probably quite old, best before of April/May 2015, so some of the hop characteristics might have already gone away. Nice orange color with big head (darkness varied a bit). Amarillo is very balanced. Sweet, warming. Chocolaty, bitter, but not too bitter. Very good. wvhoran (455) - Tasmania, - SEP 5, 2014
Bottle. Deep hazy orange. Smooth caramel and biscuity malt, toffee, orange and pine. Flavour is sweet malt, orange, pine. Smooth with a decent bitterness. Aged but still very drinkable, just faded.

Cloudyish deep amber color, average sized off white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, yeast, caramel. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Very smooth, creamy texture. Another excellent single hop IPA. rockana (301) - Zadar/Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 28, 2014
Pours cloudy amber with big white head. Aroma of bread, pineapple, tropical. Light body. Sweetish taste followed by some bitterness and a bit of sourness. kevinator (2205) - The Colony, Texas, USA - JUN 3, 2014
This one had some age on it but was good nonetheless. Still a strong hop aroma of pine and floral. Nice orange-copper color that was deterred a bit by the particulates floating around. Again, most likely due to age. Strong flavors and well-blended . Bitterness was high and somewhat harsh up front but mellowed quickly. Strong malt background with some sweet and sour maltiness. Good but would have liked to try a fresher bottle.
