Bottle at home from backlog notes. Pours a clear orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted malts, caramel, some floral notes, grapefruit citrus, just a hint of spicy hops, doesn’t seem as old as most. axl (1133) - Lund, SWEDEN - DEC 29, 2016
200ml draught. Semi-clear amber with slightly ff white head. Aroma is malty with caramel, citrus, orange, sweet fruitiness and bready malts. Taste is clean citrus, light papaya, grapefruit and light caramel. Filling mouthfeel, light to medium carbonation and bitter zesty aftertaste. drpimento (3984) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 20, 2016
The reputation for Cascade hops is true. It’s a very durable resilient hop. Not the best flavor or aroma but it lasts. Same for this year which is an old one it’s not the best but it’s better than it should be given his age SinH4 (7221) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - NOV 25, 2014
As goes for all the Hop Series beers I’ve tasted: the bottles were probably quite old, best before of April/May 2015, so some of the hop characteristics might have already gone away. Nice orange color with big head (darkness varied a bit). Grapefruits, as expected from Cascade, but not exactly as much as expected, due to the older bottle. Sweetness comes through, refreshing and easily drinkable. Good! Thechasm442 (1006) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 3, 2014
12 oz bottle to a tulip. The beer pours a muddy copper amber with sediment and a thick, off white head that slowly shrinks and leaves very nice lacing. Aroma is grassy and floral hops. Sweet caramel and toffee are there as well. Taste is citrus hops right away. They are strong and met with a caramel/toffee malty flavor that balances nicely. Lots of grapefruit and orange zest. The beer hides the alcohol well, however it clings to the mouth almost too long, leaving a bitter taste after a while. Overall very tasty.

2011 batch, only 38 ibus. i thought this would be among my favorites. while it was pleasant, it ended up in the bottom third (of the first half). more spicy than floral, with lighter than expected citrus notes."

Pours a cloudy brownish-amber color with a medium thick foamy off-white head that recedes gradually. Patchy lacing. Aroma of grainy malt, caramel and hops. Medium body with flavors of grainy malt, earthy hops and ripe fruit. The finish is malty up front with a short fruity hops aftertaste. I assume this bottle is older despite being bought recently, but it is tough to blame the store and not the brewer for not providing dating. Decent overall. osu97gp (678) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Pours a cloudy brown with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma of citrus and malts. Flavor of pine, caramel, and citrus a the finish. Decent. angel77 (4307) - oviedo, SPAIN - FEB 3, 2014
Pours cloudy reddish brown with marginal head. Aroma is malty, slightly grapefruity. Taste is....not as good as I hoped. It is missing something, but it slightly malty, acidic, earthy, citrus peel.
