COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is a part of a Single Hop IPA series by Mikkeller. We created this series to showcase hop varieties on their own. This gives the consumer the possibility of smelling and tasting the unique characteristics of each variety and hopefully helping to educate people about the wonderful world of hops. For each beer, the single hop variety was used in the same weight for bittering, aroma and flavor and for dry hopping. All 19 varieties of single hop beers in this series were brewed the same week and with malts from the same batches and the same yeast and fermentation temperatures. This is done to better compare the characteristics of the different hop varieties.

Ottima ipa amara aromatica saporita davvero un luppolo molto interessante!

It’s hot outside and this seems like the perfect thing for this weather. I couldn’t imagine anything better right now. IPAs must be growing on me.

Red-ish color. The taste of cascade is nice and the bitterness is in good combination with the freshness and the citrus/orange aroma and taste. The palate is overall nice.

4 out of the 19 in the series. Burnt orange, light head. Nice dank hops, earthy notes. Flavor is bitter but not overly. Good yeasty, earthy notes.

330mL bottle generously sent across the pond by stobbe74. The bottle pours copper with gold edges and a bit hazy when the yeasty sediment is involved. The hop laden liquid supports a near white sort of head. The aroma is nice and spicy and then picking up plenty of floral that fills in behind the spiciness. The taste has chewy hops with yummy spiciness and modest amounts of floral notes floating around the edges.

Sampled as part of a hop education class. Very earthy compared to Williamette, Bravo, and Nugget. Not overly hoppy or bitter. Compared to the other 3, my least favorite, although a solid body in mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

En APA med betoning på beskan som ändå är relativt snäll och maltig. Humlenarom och smaker relativt platta med toner av aprikos.
