Bottle. Pours apricot gold. Big foamy off white head. Nose/taste of caramel malt, citrus, resin and pine cone. Dryish bitter pine finish. Medium body. j12601 (11671) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 18, 2011
On tap at Rattle N Hum during their Mikkeller single hop series event. All of them pour pretty much the same, ruby tinged amber with medium to thick beige heads, depending on the pour. The malt profile on them is all fairly consistent as well, tending to be a bit too sweet for my tastes, often masking some of the more delicate hops. Aromas of bubblegum and fruit. Juicy Fruit, and Frute Stripe gum. Malt, spicy bubblegum and big fruit on the finish. sfhodense (4789) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - JUL 18, 2011
Pours amber with a beige head. Aroma is malt and light grass. Flavour is malt, light grass and pine. Nice soft and round bitterness. Strykzone (7356) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUL 17, 2011
Tea colored with a fluffy off white head that leaves droopy lacing. Floral hops and fruit are smelled along with caramel. The nose is not big. Flavor is dry and fruity with moderate bitterness. There is some brown sugar and a bit of toastiness and bit of grass. The finish was caramel and sugary. Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 14, 2011
On keg at the Brewdog Bar, Edinburgh for their IPA Wars. Had this alongside the Warrior, Cluster and Galena. These beers were a golden colour with a thin white head. A caramel, bubblegum aroma. Tasted chewy and a little sweet. Bubblegum and port wine flavours. A little CO2 prickle with a rounded caramel linger.

tap at brewdog bar ... copper ... thin lacing ... soft creamy malty hop nose ... some citrus ... light dry hop ... light bitter ... bubblygum .. ok phaleslu (10246) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 11, 2011
Bottle from Wine and Cheese Place shared among a group of five locals. Pours a clear orange-copper color with a small off-white head that leaves a bit of lace- all 19 looked like this. This one smelled like stinky wet grass for the most part, and hay and grass linger in the nose. The flavor is better, with tea, toast, earth, and wet grains in addition to the grassy hops. Light-bodied and bitter. One of the weakest in the series. thornecb (5907) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 10, 2011
Pours hazy amber into a shaker. Off-white sickly head. Mild citrus aromas. Heavy caramel and resin from front to back. EdKing (2584) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 7, 2011
Pours nice light mahogany brown. Little foamy white head. Nose is caramel and brown sugar. Flavour is a lovely subtle floral hop taste with mild citrous finish. More balance than the Cluster. Really good refined, balanced IPA. Best I’ve had of the higher alcohol IPAs. Really special. Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - JUL 7, 2011
4 oz sample. Not as bitter, floral or hoppy in general as a lot of the others in the series, still good, this hop just didn’t hold up well.
