Pours a deep orange amber colour with a red hue and a white lacy head. Aroma of strong fresh grass, some caramel, wet earth and mango. Flavour is very pleasant with it’s strong, mainly grassy bitterness with floral undertones, grapefruit, strong herbs, citrus, mango and huge complex earthiness. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Long, lingering bitter, earthy finish. Columbus rocks.
Ambrée légèrement trouble, pétillance moyenne, mousse moyenne vite tombée. L’amertume de pamplemousse domine dès le départ malgré quelques notes herbeuses. Trop peu de nuance... DuffMan (10664) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 17, 2013
Bottle, shared with my wife. Deep amber-orange, slightly hazy, average off-white head. Aroma is sharp conifer and light citrus with underlying caramel malt. The palate is equally hoppy and malty, with more citrus coming through than was present on the nose. The malts are nice but the hops are flattening out for sure. Very bitter finish.

Bottle from Brewdog shop. Amber color, white head. Intense bitter taste with grapefruit, pine, resin, loads of floral hops and a bit of fruits. Body is mostly dominated by hops, in a good way. Bitter finish with grapefruit and fruits. Excellent, a bit brutal IPA. bulldogops (2907) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 10, 2013
2nd for me in the Mikkeller hop series (Cascade 1). 330ml bottle from Sherbrooke Pours a hazy copper with a fairly frothy head. sticky lacing. Aroma is sweet, tangerine, meyer lemon, and mild sappy, resinous pine note.Taste is mild sweetness (citrusy, piney, floral) and a lingering bitterness - cookie dough, caramel malt character really brought out, and the sticky pine-tar, sappyness of the hops. A beautiful balanced beer that isn’t shy about its IBU. RichTheVillan (8248) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2013
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; cloudy copper pour with foamy beige head, tangerine aroma, tangerine taste grapefruit, malty backbone, big IBU’s. kappldav123 (6133) - GERMANY - JUL 3, 2013
Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass golden-copper coloured, nice head. Starts dry-hoppy, modest grasy, a bit soapy. Modest bitter background. Finish well balanced, a bit milder. Okay! BMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - JUN 7, 2013
Poured at The Top in Gainesville. Murky brownish pour and small white head. Malty aroma, caramel, bit of hops pine. Flavor follows with big caramel malt notes, candy brown sugar, not much hop presence. Interesting but won’t return to this one.
