3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A bot more malty aroma than the other, but I didn’t get much out of the smell. Grape notes are present, together with some peaches and metallica notes. Very bittet finish. A bit unbalanced with just the magnum hops.
Herbal, floral, citrus, woody. Nice cloudy deep gold colour. Good, mild carbonation. More bitter than sweet with a short, sweet finish. boxofrane (2559) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 7, 2015
Draft at chaps. Pours hazy deep amber with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is on the malty side but has a good bit of floral and light citrus. The taste has a nutty, medium bitterness, almost British inspired? rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - SEP 30, 2015
bottle. Amber with one finger head. I’ve had a lot of beers from this series by now, and this is certainly well past its prime, but I couldn’t pass it by when I saw it in a bargain bin. Substantial malt base with a lot of caramel sweetness. Hops have some cardboard at this point, but still quite drinkable. Again, not one of my favorites from this series.

330ml bottle. Unclear orange color with off white head. Hoppy and malty aroma, citrusy fruity, caramel, bready. Sweet and bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation Huhzubendah (3775) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 2, 2015
Dark copper body, mild haze, half inch of tan head. Earthy, malty, herbal, grassy aroma. Malt forward. Ok flavor, but certainly not fresh. Please put a date on beers meant to be consumed fresh. CanCrusher (1178) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - FEB 21, 2015
Bottle 0,33L Hazy, dark copper colour with large, frothy, off-white, long lasting head. Very hoppy fruity aroma, also honey, plum jam and alcohol note. Teoretical IBU is 94, but so is practical, I think. Taste starts heavy bitter and finish harsh bitter with long lasting aftertaste. Medium body, dry texture, lively carbonation. As goes for all the Hop Series beers I’ve tasted: the bottles were probably quite old, best before of April/May 2015, so some of the hop characteristics might have already gone away. Nice orange color with big head (darkness varied a bit). Sweet! Good sweet fruits in the taste. Very easily drinkable. Dangerous. Max’ favourite. MarkoNm (3009) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - NOV 26, 2014
Pours a slightly hazy coppery color, topped with plentiful beige colored head that stays for a long time. Slightly fruity, some decent caramel notes and quite hoppy, but stinky. Taste starts more on the sweet side, followed by some herbal bitterness. Quite lasting aftertaste. Not bad, but not that nice either.
