My final of I think 12 of the series, taken old. I’m surprised by the relatively low rating of this. It has aged well. Sweet fruit and citrus smell, spruce and grass. Spicy, medium bitter and light sweet. Nice cloudy brown gold with floating sediment. Slightly sour. Much less of the old flavours and aftertastes of the others. kraddel (8738) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - APR 15, 2016
Drank side by side with the 19 other variants of the serie. I would like to note up front that - since these beer’s are no longer in production, they were not fresh. this rating should thus be viewed with that in mind, and can shed a light on the ’ageing’ differences between the variants. They were probably better fresh...
Pours rather clear, dark amber, small white foam. Smell is dusty, light hoparoma underneath. Taste is sharp, bitter, madeira took this one over pretty much, leaving none of the hop taste. jamaty (2232) - Madrid, SPAIN - OCT 2, 2015
Ambar, tirando a marón, con un par de dedos de espuma blanquecina. Aroma malteado, tostado, y lúpulo presente, herbal. En boca, es predominantemente dulce, acaramelada, pero con amargor lupulado herbal. Cuerpo moderado, gas escaso. rouhlas (3736) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - AUG 18, 2015
330ml bottle at home. Light unclear golden orange color with off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, caramel, bready, grassy, herbal. Sweet and bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. mansquito (6796) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JUN 6, 2015
Bar great harry, Brooklyn tap: pours reddish brown with an off white head. Aroma is herbal, earthy, and sugary. This is not bitter. This tastes old. But it from keg... Maybe it left over from many year ago. I not know. Me not enjoy. This is drinkable but not exciting.

Draft. This is a nice surprise in the single hop series, bright and herbal, cutting bitterness, clean profile. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - APR 4, 2015
I have had many an IPA. For single hop type varieties, unless you’re doing a horizontal, it’s difficult for me to taste differences among different types of hops. As an IPA, tho, this is good. A wee bit on the resiny side. CanCrusher (1104) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - NOV 26, 2014
Bottle 0,33L. Have this one half year ago... It’s cloudy, medium amber colour with a lot of floating particles and creamy, light brown head. Aroma of nutts, butter, vanilla, peach, honey. It looks like weird combination, but believe me, it rocks! Taste is light bitter with mix of orange and peach. Finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. This beer’s taste is dangerously close to barley wine. Mikkeller rules! SinH4 (6121) - Garching b. M?nchen, GERMANY - NOV 25, 2014
As goes for all the Hop Series beers I’ve tasted: the bottles were probably quite old, best before of April/May 2015, so some of the hop characteristics might have already gone away. Nice orange color with big head (darkness varied a bit). Mt Hood was a bit boring, not much hop aroma left. A bit earthy bitterness, maybe roses. Similar in the taste. slowrunner77 (12588) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 29, 2014
one of the more mellow beers from the 2ns release. not boring, but really didn’t stand out from the crowd either. more like an apa than an ipa, but still pleasant enough."
