teddybeer (4119) - Madrid, SPAIN - JAN 24, 2013
Bottled. Orange colour with a cramy off-white head, good lasting and lacework. Aroma is floral with some vinous and yeast traces. Flavor is very slightly bittery, floral and caramel notes, citrus notes are also present. The final has a light bitterness with an average duration. JEK69 (397) - FRANCE - JAN 17, 2013
This pours hazy amber, with medium off-white foam head. This beer was brewed in 2011, so is not bitter nor hop-aromatic anymore. Because of Dranken Geers: huge beer shop but not serious for the shelflives! More than 3-4 months for a single hop IPA is a non-sense. All the identity and typicity of the beer is in its hop variety. Hop flavours and bitterness decrease really quickly. Furthermore IBU of that brew were initially quite light. It smells old ale with some remaining hop notes but very light.
Clean with a good mouthfeel, great beer but not an IPA anymore. madmitch76 (25568) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2013

Hazy amber beer, big cream coloured head. Softish palate thanks to the head. Creamy malt. Mt Hood comes across as a slightly earthy hop but it’s mild compared to Brambling Cross. Mild grapefruit that’s not too bitter. Mild tangerine and a trace of peach. Finishes semi dry and mildly bitter.
330ml bottle @Cimmeria. Fruity, herbal and some off aromas(it was about to expire). Medium body, average carbonation, Pours hazy amber, with frothy off-white head.Taste is citrus, quite earthy, mild bitter, with some off flavours. Weird aftertaste. I´ll better have a fresher one, i presume... jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - DEC 18, 2012
11.2oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy dark amber. About the color of the label. Aroma of big tropical citrus with loads of grapefruit and a little caramel malt. Taste is light bitter. Orange and grapefruit citrus with a dose of caramel. Light bodied with a slightly thin yet somewhat sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, pretty good. I’m really digging the citrus in this one.

33 bottle @ home. Pours golden amber with some sediment and a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is floral hops, spices, and caramel malt. Flavour is floral hops, spices, and caramel. daje (4535) - NORWAY - OCT 25, 2012
Bottle shared october 20th 2012. This is one of the Hop Series editions that make the concept really interesting, for me at least. While there are plenty of single hop ipas showcasing the c-hops and other great american ipa hops, versions like the Mt Hood serves a good opportunity to get more familiar with the characteristics of hops that people may not know that well. As is the example with me and Mt Hood. The beer has a hazy copper body and a low beige head. Aroma of bread, anise and grass, as expected not a typical modern ipa aroma. Taste of caramel, spices, handwash soap and a slight citrus touch. It delivers a good clean bitterness, and leaves a dry aftertaste with malt. espenra (1016) - Kurland, NORWAY - OCT 21, 2012
33cl bottle. brewed 2012-04-25, best before 2014-04-25. No batch info.
dark orange colour with a medium big white had that settled down fast.
Also a weak aroma, but not as little as Saaz. Some tropical fruits and malts. Faint hints of yeast. Flavour is weak, but not as weak as Saaz. Notes of tropical fruits, malts and bread. Short aftertaste.

Medium offwhite head. Clear amber body with light carbonation.
Tropical fruit and strawberry aroma with touches of earthy
gasoline. Dry-sweet strawberry and pineapple taste with resiny
notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry resiny pineapple
aftertaste with tropical fruit notes. Nice, drinkable, but
perhaps not that remarkable. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika,
Oslo.) jackl (8423) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 23, 2012
Keg @ CPK. The pour’s medium amber with a tight white head. The nose is marmalade, floral hops, honey. The taste is more sweet marmalade, orange peel, some sweet cereal and plenty of herbal hops. Medium grassy finish. Smooth, very drinkable. Prickly carbonation. Overall, flavorful.
