DArk amber, fluffy head.
Peaches, cream, flowers, perfume. With the rich malty base underneath, this is wonderful, especially as there is a grassy dryness in the tail. A little herbal/medical element in the finish. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 1, 2012
Bottled. Poured clear medium orange with a creamy cap of beige head. The aroma picked up pineapple, mango, and dank peach kernel notes over sweet biscuity notes and a touch of honey.. very enjoyable! The flavor found sweet caramel and biscuity malts at the core, with tropical fruit and sprucey bitterness around.. bitter and peppery on the long finish, well-balanced against sweet honey notes. Medium-bodied and well-balanced on the palate.. great all the way through! jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - JUL 15, 2012
330ml bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a clear dark orange with about a finger of white head. Aroma is mostly herbal with some citrus and caramel. Taste is light bitter. Caramel, herbal and very slight citrus. Medium bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, pretty good. I’m now a fan of the palisade hop. tania_nexust (230) - Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 23, 2012
Bottle from Stirchley Wines. Pours with minimal head, slightly hazy from fine sediment. Big fruit aromas - although these are tropical and juicy, they aren’t as overpowering as some mango & pineapple-scented beers - more of a rounded fruitiness. This comes through also in the flavour, and the hop elements seem very balanced, allowing some malt flavour through with a hint of herbaceous spiciness on the end. Good mouthfeel - not as one-dimensional as some single hop beers. First time I’ve come across this hop and I’d love to try more beers where it’s used either alone or in a blend. Seems to work well on it’s own though. Would certainly drink this beer again with pleasure. BlackEyePA (573) - USA - AUG 5, 2012
Real yummy IPA. Love the single hop ipa series, tried alot of these. Good stuff. Clean, with a tiny bit of sediment, golden aurburn color. Good legs and lots of malt teh hops are sublte but stand on their own. Loved it

Very misty orange body and off white head. While the base beer is sstraightforward, the hops are earthy, raw, apricot and pine. Nice accessible bitterness, only light citrussy, more towards a hay like, farm quality. I like it! mkel07 (6266) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAR 30, 2013
330ml bottle from Warners at the Bay Bottle Shop. Big fluffy head that sticks to the side of the glass. Strong golden honey colour. Floral hop aroma fills the nose n h flavour is similar. jamestulloch (4276) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 21, 2013
Bottle from Vino Wines. Murky amber body with a large, pinkish head. Excellent lacing. Sweet aroma - honey, maple syrup, tangerine and pine. Flavour of caramel, resin and flowers. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Average carbonation. Palisade doesn’t seem to be a particularly intense hop, given the sweet malt characteristics of this beer, but it’s nice and subtle (though maybe not powerful enough to for a single-hop beer). altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - MAY 20, 2011
Bottle EUR5 at Beer Planet. Glowing copper body with puffy head. Picture perfect. Nose of hops, pines and fruits. Delicious. Taste of lots of fruits, hops, pine and strawberries. Nice dry finish. Enjoyable. Very gentle IPA.
