Mikkeller Saaz pours a cloudy hazel brownish orange with a thick foamy beige head that lasts for a long while. The aroma is floral, caramel and bread. The flavor is bread, caramel and floral. Overall this is a pretty nice brew. BeerandBlues2 (13318) - Escondido, California, USA - MAR 4, 2014
Bottle at home. Pours lightly cloudy orange with a medium, creamy off-white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is earthy, spicy, and light minty hops with pear esters and honey malt. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness, light malt sweetness to balance, light esters and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle from Vino Wines. Murky amber/brown body with a medium off-white head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of grass, fresh herbs and leafy greens. Flavour is a bit imbalanced - such a clean, green hop against the sweet malt just doesn’t work. It’s not offensive exactly, but this hop just isn’t suited to the style. Nice bitterness. Medium body with an oily texture. Average carbonation. One of the weaker efforts of this hop series. Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JAN 30, 2014
Finally captured the last of the Hop Series. Yippee. That’s like 20 IPA, love it. This one pours out of the 33cl bottle with a murky deep copper body that supports a tan head. The modest aroma offers up a mix of citrus, spicy hops, floral hops and some earthy hoppiness. There’s a malty backbone in there too to help thicken up the aroma. The taste begins with a neutral sweet maltiness and then it moves into malt sweetened citrus hops, some firm floral hops and then spicy hops that have an edge of hop bitterness to them. This works pretty good by itself but not great. I enjoyed it. maekchu (3911) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JAN 1, 2014
Bottle from Yamaichi. Good caramel nose, spiced up with the hopping. Hazy orange/amber color. Very mild but interesting blend: sour peaches and spicy hops. Some alc. warmth. Pleasant enough. The Saaz tastes and smells quite different here than in a Bohemian pils. Bragesnak (5394) - Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 10, 2013

Golden with white head. Aroma of malt and spices. Flavour with bitter hops and some caramel tone.
