COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is a part of a Single Hop IPA series by Mikkeller. We created this series to showcase hop varieties on their own. This gives the consumer the possibility of smelling and tasting the unique characteristics of each variety and hopefully helping to educate people about the wonderful world of hops. For each beer, the single hop variety was used in the same weight for bittering, aroma and flavor and for dry hopping. All 19 varieties of single hop beers in this series were brewed the same week and with malts from the same batches and the same yeast and fermentation temperatures. This is done to better compare the characteristics of the different hop varieties.

Clear medium orange colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, pine, spruce, soapy, fruity, glue notes. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average duration, overriped fruit, wood, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110503]

Hazy deep amber beer with a massive pale cream coloured head. Light semi dry palate. Mildly bitter grapefruit hops with traces of peach and lemon. Creamy malt finish. A little tangerine in there. Hint of blackcurrant in the semi dry finish. Bitterish afertaste.

Bottle at CPK, London. Pours hazy, ruby-amber with a foamy, white head. Aroma has a light floral character, with some lageresque dough notes and soft pine. Medium sweet flavor with light toast, some dirt, grapefruit, mild alcohol and lemon. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sticky, lightly resinous finish with a bit of melon, booze, honey and light caramel. Very decent IPA. Some nifty action to this one.
