Sampled as part of a hop education class. Williamette on steroids. Stronger, and more bitter. Has the same solid body as W. Perhaps more earthy, and a very very subtle chocolate linger.

Keg at Brewdog Brum. Wow! Expected not too much. Was feeling a bit wary of single hop IPAs. Shouldn’t have worried: this is tart, bitter and packed with taste. Not sure I’ve encountered this hop very much, but on this evidence it’s great. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Burnt orange pour. White head. Aroma is hoppy, light caramel, dank wood aromas. Quite bitter on the tongue. Citrus hops, good stuff! wlajwl (6813) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - OCT 15, 2011
Strong aroma of citrus and yeast. The flavor has a strong citrus hop bite to it along with a decent underlying maltiness and a dry, bitter edge in the finish. Pretty good overall. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - JUL 6, 2012
11.2oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a lightly cloudy dark orange/amber with a little over a finger of white head. Aroma of pineapple and citrus hops. Taste is medium bitter. Mostly citrus pineapple with a hint of pine. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, not bad. I’m digging the warrior hops.

Mighty fine. Alpha acids out the wazoo. Nice pine aroma. Harsh bitterness but well balanced with a slightly sweet back ground. Copper color with a white head and full body. thewolf (12598) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAY 8, 2011

Clear coppery golden with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Nice sweetish aroma, very resiny, pear, lots of lovely peach and mild melon. Medium carbonation, fine very dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is classic IPA (actually the one that is most ’regular’ IPA-ish). Resiny, piney, light pepper, good peach. Very dry and bitter finish. The caramel peeps through. Very lovely.
Aroma més tirant a dolç que llupolitzat, interessant. Però molt millor en boca. Té textura i cremositat, carbónic molt agradable i un final amarg molt refinat i llarg. Se’n va al sac de les bones dins de les hop series de Mikkeller. Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - OCT 10, 2011
330mL bottle generously sent across the pond by stobbe74. The bottle pours copper with gold edges and a bit hazy when the yeasty sediment is involved. The hop laden liquid supports a near white sort of head. The aroma is almost nothing at all where it seems there are pilsner malt notes and a mild spicy hop sense. The taste is big bold yummy spicy hops from front to back and get even bolder to midway. This hoppy attack of the palate makes up for the timid aromatics. It picks up thin ribbons of floral hops into the finish. This is delicious bitter hoppiness. mrhoppy (1288) - Santa Clara, California, USA - AUG 12, 2013
