BlazerT (1350) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - NOV 23, 2016
Bottle. Teku. Deep amber/copper with medium, semi-thick, dirty white head. Average head retention and lacing. Aroma is malty (caramel, hay and bread) with moderate vinous and sour fruits notes. Also lightly funky, candy-like, red berries and woody, tart character. Taste is semi-dry, slightly acidic, not as good as nose. Finish is semi-dry, astringent, barrel with some fruity accents. In general Red Wine BA gives this beer some wildness, tannins and red berries accents. This all nicely goes with baseline character of this beer. Good for christmas and what’s more different comparing to other this kind of beers.

ciocanelu (3187) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - DEC 13, 2015
Amber color with beige head. Aroma is heavy on the wine barrel with a nice perfume. Taste has also wine notes but also a bit of ginger and hops, all these flavors coming in waves. Aftertaste is quite bitter with the wine notes still lingering. Really well done, tasty beer with complex flavors.

GenkiGonzo (1096) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 15, 2015
Bottle from Internet. Slightly ruby gold with minimal head. Big dark fruit aroma. Mostly barley wine flavours, some bitterness. Left it quite a while to drink it.

McNeillR (2336) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 9, 2015
Hazy dark golden, near murk and a decent spaced out white head. Nose is bright citrus and a rich grapey tang. Creamy, cream cheese and a neat sweet wine. Rich sweetness, evened out by a leafy carbonation. Finishes lean on this, bit more tartness but a linger of sweetness gutting in. Despite all the sweet tooth action it hides the booze very well.

Bottle, 10pm Curfew Tasting, Mikkeller Webshop

Bottle from Bierkompass, bought in March 2014. Clear dark golden with a large head. On the sweet side with toffee, some light hops, malt, light citrus and notes of red wine. The finish was dry and medium bitter. A bit old but still a descent one.
