On tap in a tulip. Pours amber with a lacy, white head. Aroma of floral hops, some pine, some light ginger, a little caramel and pale malts, and light spices. Flavor the same. Average texture. A decent IPA. Bricktop86 (847) - Moore, Oklahoma, USA - DEC 23, 2013

Bottle. Deep golden color, lasting off-white head. Piny hop aroma. Aromatic, hoppy flavor with some oily notes. Full, hoppy finish. Medium-full body, medium carbonation. A bit dominated by the hops, but a quality brew. flying_pig (1572) - SCOTLAND - DEC 23, 2013

Hops some tropical fruits, citrus and what I think is a hint of pineapple too. There was also a slight hint of alcohol towards the end of the aroma but this was mostly masked by the refreshing fruits and the sweet malts that make up most of the nose.
Slightly hazy amber colour with a 2cm head that is white and looks to be of a thick, foamy texture that manages to hold pretty well and leave some lacing.
Hoppy with citrus fruits, as I though some pineapple and a bit of grapefruit. There is some pine and a few sweet malts with a little bit of caramel sneaking in as well.
Smooth with a medium body and carbonation about the same, there is a few hints of alcohol but not as much as you’d expect from the abv. thanks to the good balance between flavours. The beer is sticky towards the end and has a dry, sweet finish.
A good change up from the usual, run-of-the-mill Christmas beers, this one still has the alcohol content but thankfully it also backs it up in the taste department as well.
The ginger and pine gives quite a yeasty aroma, the ginger gives quite sweet flavour, while pine adds to the hoppy finish. Interesting, but not great. minihame2 (642) - Oulu, FINLAND - DEC 21, 2013
Orange colour, hazy. Small frothy white head. Aroma is not too strong and it’s pretty basic hoppy ipa thing. Mouthfeel is very light for an ipa, it’s quite watery with little carbonation. I don’t really get the ginger taste (there’s a hint of gingerbread in there, I guess that’s it) in this but the pine needles are there with the aftertaste.
It seems like a nice seasonal ipa with a christmas feel to it, but there are so many other ipas that I’d rather pick over this. vovvov (1) - - DEC 20, 2013 does not count
Very bitter this. Gives a nice clean, crisp yet almost creamy kick. The ginger comes through and provides sweet tones throughout Otterdance (164) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - DEC 20, 2013
This has a nice pineapple citrus aroma. Herbal, spicy pine flourish with a slightly sugary feel which gives it that festive feel. Nice variation on a hoppy pale. Good light Christmas beer. culchiem (3978) - Berlin, GERMANY - DEC 20, 2013
Draught. Deep gold with a thin head. Aroma is ginger and orange syrup. Flavor is sticky sugary fruit, some dry bitterness and a spiced finish.
