Could have been very nice and tasty but too bitter for me this time to enjoy. Nice pineyness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One of my favourite beers, lovely spicy palate where the ginger hits, it appears a little cloudy but the aroma makes up for it. Delicious.

Aroma is tropical fruit and caramel. Round mouthfeel. Nice malty base, fruity hops and little herby too.

[email protected] Bar, CPH - fuzzy golden pour with a small white head. Aroma and taste of hoppy citrus notes, pine needles, straw, slightly toasty malt, caramel, some herbal and floral nuances in there. Nice brew.

Clean golden color, medium white head. Floral aroma with notes of caramel, pine, ginger, yeast and some spices. Taste is similar, mostly sweet with light dryness and medium bitter hoppy finish and spicy aftertaste. Medium body and high carbonation. Drinkable, but has some unpleasant notes, which I don’t like.

Now, that’s a proper Christmas beer (by that I mean, not a potpourri bomb). Aroma is brightly lit by fruit and pine, followed by a well-carbonated body and citric flavor mellowed by a caramel sweetness. Not to worry, it finishes dry and spicy, likely where the ginger and pine needles show up most. Bravo!

Bottle (33 cl) from Ölbutikken via a friend. Shady golden, medium white head. Fruity, perfumy, piney hop aroma. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry, medium to high bitterness.

Pours hazy dark golden color with off white head. Aromas of tropical fruits and pine. Similar flavors with moderate bitterness and some sweet caramel. Medium body with average carbonation.

In a world of dark Belgian winter beer, this one stands out with the best of them for pale wintertime ales! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
