Appearance - bright orange with a lovely frothy head. Gentle but steady carbonation.
Nose - ginger biscuits and cream.
Taste - more ginger nut biscuits.
Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a dry long finish.
Overall - good beer if a little single dimensional. It’s nice to have a change from darker and richer Christmas beers though. Fancy_Clown (15) - London, Surrey, ENGLAND - NOV 7, 2013
Nose: ginger undertone/sweet/marmalade scent.
Appearance: Hazy with a lot of suspended sediment. Looks solid and thick.
Taste: Pine, herbs, quinine long dry finish.
Feel: Thick, viscous. Very nice.

You’ll get the traditional ginger/spice combination here, but well balanced against a nice, hoppy IPA. Have one or two in the season. HopRedHead (397) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - NOV 5, 2013
UPDATED: NOV 6, 2013 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Upfront mandarin, cloves, ginger, honeydew melon and grapefruit. Really sweet nose but balanced out by herb notes. Taste is less complex, sweetness is a touch sickly but dries out with a spicy herb finish. Nice tropical flavours and a hit of IPA bitterness down the back. Interesting IPA, definitely one to try. Fantastisk beska blandat med sötma i aromen. Smaken likaså, väldigt fin balans.

On tap at Ölrepubliken. Sweet and fruity smell with candy, grapefruit and pine. Similar taste, tastes a bit like fruit candy. Hammy78 (977) - Dundas, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2013
Bottle. Pours with a huge fluffy white head, true copper, lots of carbonation. Nose is a nice combination of floral citrus and pine hop, touch of caramel malts. Tastes hop bitter, a little alcohol bite, caramel mealtimes. Another gem from the man. KansaiBeerLvrs (5578) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 25, 2013
At Asahiya’s Christmas party, 7.8%. A bottle shared among friends. A really nice hoppy beer but balanced and not overpowering. Very good. Niller (1718) - Hammel, DENMARK - JUL 18, 2013
Bottle from BarleyWine, Copenhagen. Pours cloudy golden with a big white head. Sweet aroma of peach, citris and hops too. Taste is hops, pine and citrus. Nice bittersweet finish. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 8, 2013
In short: An easy-drinking biscuity moderately hoppy blond beer with pine-needle and spicy twist. Good.
How: Bottle 750ml, consumed one month after purchase (probably already a few months old).
The look: Partly cloudy dark blond body topped by a medium off-white head with good retention
In long: Nose is a bit discreet for the style, notes of orange peels, some pine needles, apricots, toasted apple straddle. Taste has a semi-sweet semi-toasted biscuit malts, Social Tea™ cookies sensation, lots of dried fruits, pine-needles, some caramel. Bitterness in the below-medium range for the style. The beer is said to use ginger and pine needles, there’s a light spiciness sensation but I can’t say it was particularly ginger, and the beer sure had a piney character but no more than many piney IPA that do not use actual pine-needles. I expected a gimmicky beer but I found this beer to be well balance without the adjuncts steeling the show. This was a rather easy to drink beer, not quite refreshing but very easy to drink. A good beer, but the added spices wasn’t necessary, in my honest opinion adding spices to an IPA is about as essential as adding closed caption to a porn movie.
