The pour is a clear golden color with a full, fluffy, creamy, off-white head which is mostly lasting and leaves scattered, drippy lace. The nose is pleasant with lots of pine resins, floral, herbal, light ginger, some pink grapefruit, and gooseberries. The flavor is very similar with lots of fruit (gooseberries, pink grapefruit), still quite resinous, piney, very faint ginger, and herbal underneath. The palate is lively, light to medium, and oily/sticky. The finish is mostly bitter, gooseberries, pine resins, and herbal. I actually liked this quite a bit; the intense fruit was pleasant for me, and the underlying herbal was a nice touch. The pine addition is an obvious complementary piece but the subtle ginger worked well in this, despite my skepticism. Just another great beer from Mikkeller.
Aroma is piney and grassy with a citrusy sting. Taste is clean with a sweet, almost syrupy character. Very light ginger (which is good) and zesty orange. Dry and light herbal ending. Positively surprised by this one. I like it quite a lot. chucklemation (1796) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - DEC 31, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2017 Pours s cloudy golden yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is citrus, pine, resin...I don’t detect any ginger. Flavor is similar - maybe ginger sweetens the beer some? Pretty bitter, well-carbonated. Solid IPA. blueruin (252) - - DEC 27, 2017

33 cl, bottle conditioned, BB 05/03/19. Quite clear, golden amber, thick white head, nice lacing, medium-low carbonation, powdery sediments. Not an overwhelming aroma, just a fresh and sharp hop presence. Mouthfeel is juicy and bitter. Flavours of tropical hops in abundance, Mikkeller has, once again, created a wonderful IPA. Didn't order this, but sure, why not (Mikkeller Berlin). Nose is pine, orange, citrus, grass. Palate is bitter orange, pine needles, hoppy finish, quite nice. Cristobal37 (1287) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 19, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 19, 2017 on tap at Csakajosor. Fruity piney aroma strawberries and peaches. Sappy, piney, sticky, fruity taste. Nice long sap. Cool and reminds me of winter in the forest, crunchy pinecones, sappy oak trees and pine wood. Successful again from the Mikkeller gang. ciocanelu (3112) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - DEC 16, 2017
On tap. Clear deep golden color with off-white head. Aroma is malty with resiny hops and some sweet orange peel. Taste is sweet and hoppy at first, gets more resiny and bitter on the finish. Light body, medium carbonation. Overall it's an easy drinking resiny IPA.
