Tap at Max’s. Pours opaque black with creamy beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, vanilla, spices, plums, dates, and light woody notes. Flavor is dry roast malts, spices, light earthy and chocolate bitterness, and faint dark fruit esters; dry finish with some lingering pepper spiciness. Medium body and low carbonation. Had on tap at Max's in Baltimore. Pours dark brown. Lots of chocolate and roast in the nose. Hardly. Noticed any habanero which is good. Nice drinkable beer.
