Fairly standard Impy. Poured black with a forthy tan head. Aroma of roast malt and a load of spice. Medium to full body, the flavour isn’t really that spiced, not a lot that stands out really. Borresteijn (7036) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 13, 2013
On tap at Beer Temple. Black colour, big beige head. Aroma of chocolate, spice, roasted malts, hot peppers. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, chocolate, spice like mace and cinnamon, light bitter roast, coffee, good and subtle hot pepper finish that lingers a bit. Medium-bodied. Good show. Seemed to me this was the From To Via with peppers added. n00bface (137) - Minneapolis, USA - JAN 12, 2013

Very dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma is pickled jalapenos (of, for example, the movie theater variety), caramel, nuts, and a hint of chocolate. Taste is a bit sweet, but mostly spice. A little too spice-centric. Very different from Mikkeller’s other pepper experiments, but not quite as good.
Draft at Beer Temple. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, chilli pepper, spice. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. The pepper burn builds nicely at the back off theory without being overpowering. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty good. Plaas (92) - Alkmaar, NETHERLANDS - JAN 12, 2013
Nice spicy beer, but not as balanced as the Texas Ranger. Spices overrule the roasted malt. Nice beer though.

Keg at Craft Clerkenwell. Thick and black with golden head. Aroma coffee, roast, smoke, spice. Taste bitter, roasty, spice, smoke. Not as spicy as I thought it might be. Nice though. Not as full on as Texas ranger. Spice increases at the end.

Draft. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma is hard roasted dark malts, dark chocolate, smoke, ash, chili, soy. Taste is moderate+ sweet and moderate bitter. Body is almost full, texture is smooth, carbonation is average. Finishes bitter with a nice chili burn in the throat. thomat (3858) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 9, 2013
Very dark brown with a thick brown head. Malty with chocolate tones. Malt, fruit, chocolate and chilli. Medium to full body with a bitter sweet + spicy finish. Garlic_of_Doom (645) - SWEDEN - DEC 8, 2012
Draft at På besök. (Labelled as a porter)
Pours black with a thick brown head.
Aroma has mostly roasted malt and chocolate
Taste has bitter roasted malt, cocoa powder, luxurious coffee and hot, fruity chilli, a slight alcohol burn chimes in with the habanero.
After taste is long and dry with a chilli heat that lingers on and on.
Thick mouth feel, low carbonation.
Well brewed chilli stout, I had expected the habanero to take more place but it’s well balanced in proportions to the other tastes. SirLimpsalot (4238) - SWEDEN - DEC 1, 2012
@ Mikkeller Bar: Trevlig mörk öl med tydliga brända toner och en tydlig chillismak. Lång eftersmak med en lagom balanserad hetta.
