3oz sample at Cerveza Mexico 2015. Opaque murky amber. Intense fruity hop acidic aroma, also very resinous. Robust bodied with moderate carbonation. Intensely bitter, with a strong roasted caramel and alcohol character. Very heavy and quite excellent.

Keg at Mikkeller Viktoriagade, CPH, 20/08/15. Murky amber topped with moderate off white spotting. Nose is pine, dank citric tunes, mango, grapefruit, caramel malt, bitter hop. Taste comprises much the same, a pretty bitter bastard, good dank licks. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Good DIPA gear.

Enjoyed a 400 mL draft of this beer in a narrow wine-type glass at the Mikkeller bar in southwest Copenhagen. The beer had a cloudy dark amber-straw color with a smaller foamy white head with shorter retention, good cling, and great lacing. Its aroma was a mix of floral and pine hops with some citrus, spices, and a bit of corriander. The taste was excellent, featuring a bitter floral hops character with grainy notes, citrus, and fruit flavors, and was a touch sweet. The body was somewhat creamy and a bit dry with a thicker mouthfeel and a slight alcohol presence. A superb and memorable IPA, one of the best I have had, although quite expensive.

The aroma is full of cane sugar, dried fruits, chocolate, amarillo hops, fruits, coffee and caramel. The color is dark caramel. The taste is full of cane sugar, dried fruits, chocolate, coffe, fruits, hops and caramel. The finish is long and sweet and a bit alcoholish. A really nice surprise!

Cloudy golden orange pour with a thin soapy off white head .... Aroma of oranges, chewy caramel malts, light piney hop but mostly faded hop notes. Bottle says best by 07-15-15 ..... Taste is of peaches, oranges, rindy, chewy caramel malts, faded piney hops and a bitter dry hopped bite ... Has a lingering a sweet malt as well as a slight lingering bitter bite ... Not bad wish I found it fresh

Bottle to tulip Orange, grapefruit, caramel, and pine resin. Cloudy amber with a thin off white head. Taste is papaya, mango and other tropical fruit, grapefruit, caramel and loads of bitterness. The sweetness comes first and then is taken over by the bitterness. Theres somewhat a loss of balance with that.
