The copper-amber color, cloudy body. and two finger thick head made of large bubbles made this beer look good to me. The smell was very aggressive at an arms length, as the hops gave out a grassy, spicy aroma. Right under the nose, the aromas mellowed a little, as the honey like malt started to come through. The was not as bitter as the American IPAs originating on the US West Coast. There was a honeydew melon and papaya like sweetness up front, with notes of pear as well. The hops were clearly there mid palette, and in the finish, but they were not the typical citric types, and were instead more herbal, earthy, and spicy. This beer was quite hefty in body and stuck to the corners of the mouth, giving the beer a drawn out aftertaste. Hid the alcohol well, and went down quite easily.

From tap at Salon Piva, Bratislava. Hazy amber color with a slightly beige white head. The aroma is medium hoppy with ripe oranges, some resin in front of a good malty backbone. Medium to full body with a light to medium sweetness and a light to medium bitterness. The flavor is similar to the taste with overripe citric fruits, but a little stale.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2017 Bottle from backlog notes. Solid enough especially for an imported Shelton Bros. Imperial IPA. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet caramel, grapefruit citrus, earthy, moderate bitterness, good.

Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Aromat słodowy (biszkopt, miód) i chmielowy (żywice, trochę owoców). W smaku pełne, wytrawne, z intensywną, grejpfrutową goryczką.

Bottle. Hazy amber-orange with creamy white head. Lot of malts and hops. Deep hoppy aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, grape fruits, pine and grass - but also caramel and overiped fruits. Notes of estery fruity yeast. Nice balance. Starts sweet but turns heavy bitter with long fruity duration. Light alcoholic warmth. Medium body and juicy sticky texture. A good one...

Draught @ Mikkeller Bangkok. Hazy dark orange with smallish off-white foamy head, grapefruit aroma, low carbonation, sweetish taste with bit of grapefruit bitterness, thin body, long grapefruit finish. Quite flavorful, well balanced.
