I am rating this as a gluten free beer - not just as a typical IPA. This is far and away the best gluten free one I have ever had. Has great tropical hop flavours - honestly I cant even tell it is GF. My mom has celiac disease and even though she hates beer I always try the non gluten items to see how they stack up - normally they are far worse than the original but Mikkeller made a beer just as good. Major props from me.

Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Dość wysoka słodowość kojarząca się z żytem, sporo fajnych chmieli, przyjemna, wysoka goryczka.

(Bottle) Dark amber colour with big, rocky, beige head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, hoppy nose with orange peel, toffee, apricot marmalade, honey, crisp-bread and pine needles. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of apricot marmalade, toffee, orange peel, honey, crisp-bread and a generous piney, citric bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Fairly thin and hollow malt profile, but generous hop character, and quite bitter. Quite nice.

Golden colour with light golden foam. The nose is not very big a bit boring. An okay beer but not a huge fan.

Draft at Uiltje bar. Aroma of malt mostly. Taste has aspartam, candy peach and some malt. Very thin. Boring beer, needs more gluten.

On tap at Uiltje Bar, Haarlem during Mikkeller tap takeover. Nose is citrus. Body is clear orange copper, head is medium, offwhite, creamy, average lasting, excellent lacing. Aroma is tropical fruits, grapefruit, quinine, bitter lemon. Light sweet, medium to heavy bitter, light citric sour . Finish is long lasting hoppy medium to heavy bitter. Light body, dry texture, soft carbonation.

Sampled from bottle at home. Hazy reddish amber with offwhite head. Sweet caramel malts, quite sweet fruity notes of pineapple, lychee and citrus. Some floral notes and a bitter dry finish. Medium body with average carbonation.

Pours lovely amber with almost golden head. Nnose is malty with fresh hops and not too persistant. Taste is also rich in malts but still leaving the fresh hops with citric notes and almost some medicinal notes. Palate is a little short - bit sill very agreeable. Overall a good IPA

Beer with nice citrus aroma with malty notes, dry in taste with quite strong bitterness and fizzy carbonation. Cloudy gold colour body with white strong foamy. Overall good for a gluten free beer.
