KyotoLefty (10197) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAR 22, 2014
Bottle at Asayahi. Funky grapefruit nose, barnyard, lemon. Cloudy orange color. Flavors of grapefruit, peaches, bready malt, caramel, apples, funk. Nice but a bit too young and far, far too gassy.

rederic (3335) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 13, 2014
22oz bottle, big pop! at the cracking, cloudy amber-orange hue, with a big rocky bubbly pale - beige head, very nice mild funky bretty, fruity yeast nose, with some light barnyard, light tropical fruit, yeast dough, zesty lemon, grapefruit, lime peel accents, with a light floral citrus, leafy, grassy, minty hop, lemon pie, lemon marmalade note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a good earthy bretty, funky, leathery, yeasty, zesty, spritzy citrus peel, flowery leafy, grassy, minty, citrus hoppy character, with some kind of yuzu peel, faint flavored citrus chewing tobacco, mint leaf, herbal lemongrass, faint honeyed pale, toasted, wheat malt, lemon marmalade, lemon pie flavours, with a lively carbonation, leading towards a yeasty bretty, funky, barnyard, lemon, grapefruit, lime zesty rind, lingering dry leafy, grassy, citrus hop bitterness finish.

CapFlu (5126) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 9, 2014
Large pop and highly active carbonation. Pours a large frothy white head atop an active, carbonated clear light gold body. Nose is highly yeasty, peppery and filled with green leaf. Great Brett front, with a strong IPA base. Nail polish and apple cider finish. Delicious, but not worth the price. Purchased at Cascadia Liquor (Quadra) in Victoria, for $22. Sampled at 12*C in a tulip glass.

Lagerboy (2189) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 8, 2014
3/6/2014, Mikkeller Tasting Night @ The Brownstone, Round 1: shared 750 ml corked and caged bottle, Batch #2, Nov/2012. Opaque yellow orange, small lasting off-white foam. Aroma of brett and citrus orange. Bitter hop brett funk taste, tart citrus, mild c-malt, dirty and yeasty. Softer than average carbonation, medium bodied, moderately hopped. finish is short, clean and dry. NFL (Not For Lagerboys) The citrus provided nice contrast paired with muscles marinated in Crannog’s Organic Conspiracy Ale, saffron, onion and chorizo.

3.8
NeuroPliny (246) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 28, 2014
Poured into a Trappist glass from a 750 cc bottle. Colour is clear amber-copper. Light yellow moderate head. Aroma is wet hay, funky Brett, and pine hops. Flavour is lively hops, funky yeast, caramel malts, grapefruit. Nice sourness up front with a nice bitter finish.

VictorStr (1740) - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - FEB 3, 2014
[1 Feb-tripp till Mikkeller] Dov balanserad i arom, Bra balans i kroppen, kanske i lättaste laget för att vara en 8%

3.9
Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2014
A truly amazing beer. The piney/grassy notes of the IPA remained, but there was also a nice Brett fink to it.
