From a 750 purchased at a Lakewood OH store into a tulip. Opens with a pop. Pours clear light straw with an inch or two of head which dissipates into nothing. Zero lacing. Great stanly horse aroma. Mouthfeel is very light with too much carb. Taste is overwhelming funk. Just total Brett funk. A little very bitter hops to back things up. Not sure why this is an IPA. Hops aren't noticeable. If you like Brett this is for you.

Bottle shared at Craft Ale House. Pours hazy golden coppery with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is tropical fruit, lemongrassy malt, mild yeasty esters. Tastes tropical fruity, with some notes of tartness, fun, florals, and spicy peppery notes. Lively carbonation and a complex flavor and finish. A winner. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 22, 2013

Picked up at Whole Foods in Reno, NV. The pour is an orange color and has a very prominent head, white in color – lasts for quite some time and levels off to a thin foamy ring around the glass. Aroma is consistent; it is different and does not seem to hold the same character profile as taste. It has citrus notes, tumbleweed-y/grassy. There are some medicinal (earthy) like characteristics to the beer (like what I find in Immort - but not as strong). Taste is empty for the majority then strikes at the back top of the roof and entrance of throat, hitting the tongue just a tad. Overall, I am very happy I had this beer. IPA’s are one of my fav styles, and I love the magic of Brettanomyces. I find it to be unique and different. JaBier (8396) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JUL 16, 2013
Bottle from Aficonado’s. Clear yellow in color with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, lemon, grapefruit, grassy hop and citrus zest. Malty flavor with bitter brett and lemon before a grassy hop finish.

Bottle at Mikkeller and friends. Pours a hazy golden with a frothy white head. Smells of hops and plant sap. Bitter with a mellow tartness. Hoppy with aromas of brett. Hops aromas are pine and spruce. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Dry hoppy finish. HopRedHead (397) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 14, 2013
Bottle from Mikkeller & Friends. Pours golden orange with a tall, rocky white head. Smells like lemon peel, brett, further citrus acidity. Taste is empty at first, but builds up. Sweet citrus hops with lots of zest. Spritzy body with a fair whack of carbonation, nice and dry. Definitely worth a try. Elwood (3347) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - JUL 12, 2013
Serving: 750 ml. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy, light orange with a billowing off white head. The nose is very herbaceous with nice spicy hop notes and a good bit of yeast. The flavor is very reminiscent of Anchorage’s Bitter Monk with a few twists. There is a little citrus, notes of grass, basil and a touch of brett. Light to medium body with lots of soft carbonation and a lingering finish. A pretty tasty brew. dhunter151 (590) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - JUL 6, 2013
750ml bottle. Pours amber with a thick foamy head. It foamed up a lot when poured. A pretty good Belgian IPA. Funky Brett notes with some citrus.

I know this is a really well made beer. However, this style is not for me. Very strong bretty funk up front, with a very long and sharp bitterness that, to me, seemed totally disembodied from the rest of the beer. Overall, very bright and sharp tastes accompanied by a finish that just seems poorly balanced.
