Bottle shared with Steve. Very hazy orange-tinted amber. Equally malty and hoppy, sweet orange citrus, slightly chewy body, medium bitterness. A malty IPA, but I often like that.

Headbanger (4012) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - SEP 23, 2013
22oz bottle 9/23/13 (Binny’s Naperville)-42° in Shaker-Pours a cloudy orangish amber with a small off white head. Aroma of hops, caramel, and malt. Taste of the same with more malt and then hops coming in on the back end. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and goes down easy.

Ibrew2or3 (8748) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - APR 22, 2013
22oz bomber pours with a clear copper body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up mineral notes, some pine like hop resin mixed with some sugary malts that are lingering around in the background. The taste is similar where I get a pulse of pine hop bitterness, some floral hop notes, a dash of citrus and a thin ribbon of malt sweetness all hitting pretty much all at once. Overall this is pretty bitter and resiny with hops as well as offering a seemingly out of place sugary sweetness. This seems somewhat disjointed as the mineral earthy notes surface into the finish.

jsquire (4537) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - MAR 17, 2013
Hazy burnished golden color with a foamy off white head. Nice hoppy nose with light toast notes. Orange peel, apricot, orange marmalade and toast. Nice standard IPA.

drpimento (3714) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 15, 2013
An amazing beer! My first of a Brett/IPA ( tho with the very aggressive hops more like a double IPA). Poured with a smallish, sudsy, off-white head that completely fades and no lace. Color is a very slightly hazy yellow with a huge range of size bubble trails from tiny to grande. Aroma is a volatile blend of hop, spice, lemon & other citrus, yeast, funk. Flavor’s much like nose, mammoth hop, more of an edge to the tang from not just carbonation but from the Brettanomyces, fairly dry with only a very slight sweetness. Body is good with very good carbonation. Finish is like flavor with grapefruit coming thru strongly in the finish along with strong alcohol warming and lots of lingering bitterness. Very drinkable; would be a great summer brew.

Hazy amber beer, decent cream coloured head. Palate starts soft turns sharp mineral crispy! Strong grainy malt base with a trace of caramel. Good piney hops with a nice sweet orange underneath. Malt turns creamy before smooth finish. Sharp minerals again. Bitter aftertaste. A little barleywine like and very nice indeed.

650mL bottle to flute Tangerine, resin, papaya, cedar. Cloudy reddish amber with a thin white head. Taste is citrusy and slightly sour with a nice hoppy finish. Mouthfeel is oily with late alcohol burn.
