This was a pretty mellow IPA. Had the qualities yet lacked the inner heart and soul of an amazing brew. Slightly flat. Alot of great things tho. Balanced in its own way. Bewutiful vibrant pour. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - APR 22, 2012
Was looking forward to this one, malty aroma, not much hop flavor, a bitter finish however. Bummer bromigo Dogbrick (13006) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 17, 2012
This beer is a clear amber-gold color with a medium foamy white head that diminishes steadily. Short stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of citrus, malt and pine. Medium body with a citrusy character and notes of piney hops and sweet malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall. rejtable (2671) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 16, 2012
22 oz bottle. Really nice piney hop up front, then a good bit of peachy and maybe grapefruit coming in the back. Pours orange with small head that lasts. Great effort! bluejacket74 (1992) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - APR 13, 2012
22 ounce bottle. Served in a nonic pint glass, the brew pours a cloudy orange/brown color with about a half inch light tan head that stayed around a little while. There’s also a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, it smells mostly like citrusy (grapefruit, tropical fruit, orange peel) and pine hops, along with a bit of bready malt. The taste is pretty much just like the aroma with the hoppy flavors being dominant. But the hop bitterness is stronger in the flavor than I expected it to be since the aroma was sweeter and I thought the fruity hop flavors would be more noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit coating and has moderate carbonation. I think it’s a good overall brew, I liked it. $8.99 a bottle.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma is medium hop heavy, with piney and resinous hops apparent, along with some subtle spicy hops. Flavour of resinous hops with a subtle spic, and just enough malt backing. Finishes dry and bitter. Nothing special here - strange for Mikkeller - but well-made nonetheless. Strong bitter flavor. Mouthfeel is very dry and caustic. Flavor is great, sweet scotch like malt followed by lots of earthy hops. Color is dark Amber and fully translucent. wedgie9 (2702) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 9, 2012
Tasted on 4/9/12 from a growler purchased at Wino’s. Pours a dark auburn orange with an average white head that slowly recedes to thin lace. The nose is a nice blend of brown sugar malt, a hint of mik chocolate malt, and pleasant resin and citrus peel hops. The flavor is extremely dry and more intensely bitter than I expected from the palate, with the resin and citrus peel hops dominating. The brown sugar and milk chocolate malt act as a backbone, with just a hint of toasted walnut as well. The body is medium with just lighter than average carbonation and a long resin bitter and lightly nutty finish. jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - APR 9, 2012
Bottle. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose/taste of pineapple, citrus, caramel malt and dry pine. Inconsistent - sometimes its in the nose - sometimes it’s not. Finishes very dry with pine. Medium body. thornecb (5907) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - APR 9, 2012
Pours hazy gold into a Sam glass. White head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Mild resin aromas. Dry with sour biscuit upfront turning to grapefruit in the lasting finish.
