slightly opalescent colour, moderate sized white head; aroma of fruits like peach, barnyard, musty, caramel and floral notes; bitter-sourish taste with peach, slight citruses, dry white wine notes and hints of honey; correct beer cervmagpt (869) - PORTUGAL - SEP 21, 2015
Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 28A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown (BBF 10/06/18). AROMA: mild nice and refreshing aroma with citric and slight acidic notes, a slight malty background and some brett notes (barnyard). APPEARANCE: gold color and just slightly hazy. average white head with moderate retention. TASTE: very mild brett flavours with earthy and slight barnyard notes. citric/tropical fruit notes present. medium-low bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: light body due to high attenuation with moderate carbonation. OVERALL: a nice brett belgian ale and very sessionable. TorbenJensen (1539) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 16, 2015
Pale golden color with coarse, and very much alive foam that reminds most of all about the foam from a champagne bottle.
The aroma is citrus fruit and a strange musty flavor, which is not really good. Now I had researched a little earlier and therefore know that it is caused by the use of yeast culture Brettanomyces. The taste is first lightly, later to assume a sweet / bitter mouth feel with a very dry aftertaste. Only a little hop in the aftertaste makes it a little reminiscent of beer. A touch of lemon reminiscent of one lambic, but is nevertheless its own type. A very distinctive beer, which many probably will not care about. I find the other hand, some positive trends in it, and I think it will be good on a hot summer evening as an aperitif. McWorta (1633) - LUXEMBOURG - SEP 3, 2015
Golden (~6 EBC) pretty clear, rocky white head. Aromas of orange peel zest, some straw/hay and funky barnyard develop. Light lively, watery, light bodied. Some biscuity sweetness with a present bitterness and pronounced funky tartness. Short light dry finish. pilsnerrogge (2973) - Finspång, SWEDEN - AUG 29, 2015
