COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This version of the It’s Alive has the mango to give it that sweet fruity tropical fruit taste, while the Chardonnay barrel aging gives it a vineous character. Brett gives the tartness. Complex beer – it is very much alive!

bastarda (507) - Freiburg, GERMANY - AUG 24, 2014
@Cerveteca Lisboa, 13th August 14; already most complex in its aromas, beautifully ranging from dry cidre, woody, oaky notes to some hints of white wine and even a whiff of very fresh Brie and some really very subtle hint of Mango. Tastewise, its a lot less sour than expected from sniffing but an absolotely fine tartness with woody notes, a lot like Champagne and a very subtle hint of Mango.

Gaultier (1857) - SWEDEN - AUG 17, 2014
Tap @ Øl & Brød, Copenhagen. Aroma: Fruity, brett, caramel. Taste: Dito. The finish is dry and medium bitter with notes of caramel/toffee.

Vestergaard (2089) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - AUG 13, 2014
Bottle. Pours dark, Brown amber. Aroma is dry, vinous, wooden, bretty stuff. Great deal of exotic fruits, and actually a good deal of hops. Taste is dry without being too funky. Bitter, vinous and hoppy notes up front, followed by more sweet, fruity notes, that reveal a certain malt- and alcohol presence. Despite that, the alcohol is well hidden. Sparkling, dry mouth feel. Medium-High carb. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Klimaet (2960) - Aarhus N, DENMARK - AUG 13, 2014
Bottle shared with Vestergaard and Rasmusott. Thanks guise <3. Pours a hazy dark amber with a medium sliiiightly offwhite head. Aromas of white wine, slight unripe berries-tartness, slightly tropical fruits sweetness, slight caramel and brettanomyces. Taste is pretty sweet up front, slightly unripe berries-tartness as from the nose, caramel and pretty yeasty.

RasmusOtt (2849) - Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 13, 2014
Pours a dark amber with a tiny fizzy head. Aroma of wild barnyard brett, green grapes, dry champagne, sweeter fresh fruits in the background. Also get some straw and hay but the specific mango is not really to be sensed here for me. Taste of dry, weak sour and with a weak sweet fruity note on the end. I get green grapes, weak citrusy fruits, straw, barnyard and a champagne dryness to it overall. Very good and refreshing, would love to try it fresh to see if the mango will be more specific.

Habanero (4798) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - AUG 4, 2014
Bottled. Pours slightly hazy, amber with large off-white head. Aroma of lemon, grapefruit green grapes, mango and brett. Slightly sweet flavor that ends up dry and tart. Medium bodied, creamy texture and soft carbonation. Slightly sour finish. A very nice and smooth Sour.

Pours a orangish golden one finger head. Sugar coated slight funky nose. Super refreshing on the palate. This would be a good cros-over beer for wine drinkers. Well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
