UPDATED: JUN 21, 2012 0.375 L bottle picked up @Ølbutikken, København. Pours an unclear deep gold to amber, with a mostely lasting dense blond top. Initial aroma is Bretty and woody. Then some horsey notes and a scent of toasted malts and berries. Medium full, light sparkling mouthfeel. A light astringency on the palate. Nice sourish-tart fruit flavor. Berry-like. From the Lychee presumably, but I’m not able to pin-point it. LIght vinous with mIld barell notes. Finishes dry malty with a tart berry-fruity twang. Pretty good stuff!

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2016 Sampled from 0.375 l bottle. Clear, amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, malty aroma of caramel, honey, Belgian candy and some vanilla. Sweetish-malty, moderately yeasty-spicy taste of caramel, honey, vanilla, some white grapes and hints of oak, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately yeasty-spicy and a bit dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

BOTTLE. Cloudy muddy brown pour with flat white head.. Sweet fruit cordial nose, white sugar, no booze or "beer" aroma to me!?.. Sweet toffee malt start disappears to a easy/thin quick finishing combo of sweet & semi bitter red berries.. Sourced RW

Poured from 375mL bottle [bottle date 15/04/16]. Reddish-orange brown with off-white-to-beige head, tiny bit of sediment. Aroma of white wine and sour brett. Taste of mild lychee and white wine, belgian yeast, subtle brett.

Bottle. Sensoric. Deep amber, medium hazy with medium, white, semi-densed head. Aroma again is funky, woody, basement, leather. Characteristic mild, sweet white wine barrel aromas broken by some apple and peachy sensations. Taste is semi-dry, little sour (acidic, probably because of lychee), nicely balanced by semi-sweet malty profile. Finish is acidic, brett and refreshing. In general very nice, refreshing, well balanced wild ale, definetely worth trying.

375 ml bottle at Les Fleurs du Malt - le bar, Lyon. Clear orange amber color with off white head. Malty and yeasty aroma, herbal spicy, fruity, caramel, light wood and vinous. Sweet, light bitter and light acidic spicy taste. Light to medium oily body with soft carbonation.

375ml bottle from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York. Orange-amber in colour with a large long lasting off-white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is bretty, yeasty, white grapes, citrusy. The flavour is yeasty and citrusy, bretty and funk, some light sweet fruits. Lightly sweet mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long citrusy, musty. Still really goods but prefer the regular white wine barrel. Still a 4+ beer though.

Lasting yellowish white head atop a cloudy, sediment-filled brown body. Nose of a dubbel with some metallic undertones. Good yeasty flavour, lemon, tin and some solid malt in the background. Very interesting. I like it.
