COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: En vild belgisk ale brygget på: vand, malt (pale og cara), lys kandis, humle (hallertau og styrian golding), gær og brettanomyces. Lagret 7 måneder på hvidvinsfade.

English: It’s Alive!!! Indeed it is. This Belgian Ale has been aged on White Wine barrels to give it that touch of alcohol, while the Brettanomyces give the tartness. Complex but well balanced beer.

Bottle. Snifter. Burnt orange/deep aber, medium hazy with small to medium, white, semi densed head. Aroma is complex - first of all nice, smooth breet characteristics - funky with bit of basement and leather aromas. You can also find some woody and citrus notes. Everything is broken by winey and floral honey-like aromas (BA in white wine). This makes this beer really balanced. Taste is semi-dry to dry, but with the nice winey finish, which is very reminds us of BA process. In general nice, funky, drinkable and balanced beer with all the features of Mikkeller’s BA edition in white wine barrels.

375ml bottle from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York. Beautiful deep amber in colour with a long lasting off-white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is sour and funky, lots of lemons, white grapes, apple skins, some peaches. The flavour is of brett, wood and dust - musty basement really, some good lemon citrus, tart white grapes, herbal and floral. Musty mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, bretty. Just a beautiful beer all around. Soft on the pallet but huge amounts of flavour. Nearly the perfect beer for me.

Bottle poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of caramel, white wine, oak and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, citrus, white wine and light oak with a smooth dry lingering caramel finish.

375ml bottle at home. Hazy amber brown with a full white soapy head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Well balanced sour, sweet and bitter tones. Tart, vine, citrus, lemon, oak and yeast. Very good sour BA brew.

elbernays (1496) - Dublin, IRELAND - JUL 31, 2015
Bottle from Blackrock cellar. Pours amber with off white head. Strawberry bubblegum, candy floss nose with hint of bread. Flavour is bubblegum with slight apple tartness. This not a sour or wild ale. Nice but was expecting something with a little more bite on finish.

PunkAGM2015 rate catchup from notes. 6/6/15. Unfortunately suffered from following a DIPA and so subtlety as lost a little. Pretty funk and sour. Not my thang.

markextrae (4424) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - MAY 23, 2015
375cl bottle at home, poured an very dark amber colour with a big fluffy off head. Nose of fresh pineapple, white grapes, tropical fruits, horseblanket, spiced yeast, malts, Brett, grape skin, oak, white wine. Lot’s of funk, old dust, some musky aftertaste. Sweet caramel sugar, more pineapple and funk when it’s starting to warm. Was expecting a little bit more
