Tap at CBC. Hazy orange colour with a small off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, caramel and fruit. OleR (4801) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 6, 2012
Enjoyed with dinner @CBC 2012. Pours an orangey shaded hazy gold. A layer of tiny white bubbles on top. Aroma is initially lemon zesty and quite tart, quickly set of by a whiff of creamed caramel. Much of the same tastewise. Sweetish caramelly malt body with a touch of butter, bordering on harsh. Also some fine funky fruit tones, and a nice mouthdrying tartness. Light in body, easy on the palate. Creamed caramel in the aftertaste. The caramel accent is disturbing, IMO. Will most certain improve with aging. sfhodense (4788) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - JUN 6, 2012

Jug @ [ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012 ] @ Spartas Lokaler, Faelledparken in Osterbro, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Unclear to clear medium yellow to orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, butter - butterscotch - diacetyl. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
From jug @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration; matched with dinner both days. Pours a deep golden slightly hazy body with a tiny white head, lasting about 30 seconds. Not too strange, since we are dealing with unblended lambic here. :-) Aroma is quite off-putting, since massive buttery diacetyl tones spoil the party (for me at least). Otherwise, tart woody fruit tones with zesty lemon hints are pushing for attention. Tastewise, it’s less buttery but the diacetyl still hangs in there. Mild tart grapes, wood and grainy malts in the back, with hints of lactic acid and grainy bread. Very odd brew, and not too convincing - not even as a food pairing beer. Poured from a jug at the dinner, CBC, Friday and Saturday. Golden body, bubbles at the surface. Aroma of tart and sweet fruits. Wooden tartness and malty sweetness to the taste buds. Mild dry ending. Matched very well with the food, especially with the meat on Friday (Copenhagen 11-12th May, 2012). madmitch76 (26413) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2012
