Sour, tart bitter. Very sharp, sitting somewhere between a beer and a wine or cider. Very yeasty and funky too. I have to admit this is nt my kind of beer. But sipping it works and the taste is quite overwhelming. Interesting stuff.

(Rating #5693)

375mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a large, quickly-dissipating white head. Nose is lovely, with complex tart fruits, lots of barnyard funk and leather - yum. Flavour isn’t as complex sadly, though it’s still quite lovely, with notes of dry leather, lightly tart citrus skins, low-to-moderate funk, and yeast. Carbonation is medium, though fairly aggressive for an unblended lambic. Really excellent stuff here.

Leicht trübes goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch säuerlich, fruchtig, grasig. Geschmack ziemlich säuerlich, fruchtig, Trauben, leicht würzig.

375ml bottle, pours hazy golden brown with a foamy white head. Aroma is sour lambic style, dry grape & citrus, body is thin and dry, finish is short, slightly sour and dry, finish has a tonic water bitterness. Livey carbonation. Good, but not as much all roundedness as the best lambics.

Cloudy and super hazy burnt brown. Smells amazing. Like amazing. Lots of juicy fecal matter. Metallic taste. Kiwi and apple pie but no sweetness at all. Super sulphuric and metallic. Lots of ass juice. Pretty had but almost good.

07.04.2014, 0,375l bottle @ BBGTC tasting:
Small fizzy shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh sour-ish, sour apples, lemon, citrus peel, sorrel, dried fruits, caramel, sour socks, canned fruits syrup. Taste is very mild and dry, sorrel, grass, citrus peel, sour socks, green apples skin, oak, citrus, dried fruits. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Pours a golden clear body with a small, short-lived white head. Nose is barnyard funk, horseblanket, stale mold tones, wood and hints of citrus. Taste is brett, mild stable tones, grass, mold, wood and hints of mild red fruits and citrus. Light to medium body, soft to medium carbonation. Pretty nice and mellow sour, without being very assertive either way.

Dobre choc nie rewelacyjne. Bardzo zblizone do tradycyjnych lambickow Brukselskich. Ale jednak nieco inne. Delikatniejsze mniej cierpkie. Polecam milosnika gueuze.
