375 ml bottle from czar - thanks, mate. Pours a veiled and sediments-filled pale golden with a short lived white head. Aroma is wine, cheese, sweat, unripe fruit. Flavor is fruits, wild yeast, humidity, malt. Finish is very dry, very brett-ish, wild yeast, tartness. Lots of tartness. Medium body, strong carbonation. Good! tom10101 (6265) - Quebec, CANADA - SEP 29, 2013
Bottle (375 ml). Slightly hazy golden/orange with a small fully lasting off-white head (almost beige) and little lacing. There’s some funky notes in the aroma along with green apple notes (in a good way), barnyard, brettanomyces, leather and light sweetness notes. Taste is moderately sweet (not cloying, but a little more than expected) with brettanomyces, some funk and fruity notes. Light to medium body. Lively carbonation. Slightly dry finish (could be drier though). Quite enjoyable. Another good offering from Mikkeller "spontan" series. It’s in the same league as the good Belgian lambics. Drinkable. czar (9430) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 25, 2013
pours hazy light golden with a small off-white head, some retention. bretty, leathery bretts, winey, nice fruitiness - semi-sweet apricots and green apples - the good ones though, cheese, lemon, celery, wheat. bright carbonation, light body, drying and lightly acidic finish. exactly what you would expect from a young lambic by a notorious brussels unblender.. much enjoyed! mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 19, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2013 Pours a hazy dark golden with a thin cover of foam that leaves some lacing. Aroma is of funky cheese rind, cereals and citrus. Taste has a nice acidity but is only lightly tart and not a full sour. Green apples and lemon flavors. Body is medium-light and it is really refreshing. Not overly complex but still really enjoyable! I need to find some Spontanale now... TheCametron (2480) - CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 4, 2013
Bottle. Gold. Aroma of freshly chundered vomit - in a good way. An acidic, apply flavour with a sweet and sour vibe. Underdeveloped and very light for an unblended lambic. Interesting.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2013 Bottle at Craft Beer Co in Farringdon. 26th June 2013. Reddish orange with quite a bit of carbonation. Zero retention in the head. This is absolutely the last time I’m going to spend money on this Spontanale carry on.

375ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium gold, with a moderate white head, which lasts well but does not leave much lacing. The aroma offers a cider-like blend of tart apple and dusty leather notes, with some sour berry notes playing through it. It is strongly sour up front, with tart apple and preserved lemon notes. These give way to a blend of funkier sourness and leathery notes in the mid-palate. Light oak and more fruity sourness make up the finish. This is not a bad lambic, although not the most complex one out there. lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 1, 2013

Pours a cloudy orange amber colour with a small white head. Aroma of ripe apricot, wood, banana and grass. Flavour of caramel malts, tart citrus, ripe apricot, some metallic notes and grass. Light bodied, high carbonation and a tart citrusy finish. Way too high carbonation to be enjoyable. Decent.

Aroma is odd and stale with metal and sweat. Also some currants and orange. Flavour is rather tart with rhubarb, some metallic notes, orange, lactic acid and hints of grapefruit.
