Maakun (6287) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAR 4, 2017
Bottle at home best before 2022. Completely clear dark golden with off white head that leaves some little islands. Lots of green leaves, light oak, sunflower seeds, dry white wine, light funk in the background. Light drying grass, paper, grapefruit peel. Light sweet and sour, almost medium tannic bitterness. Under medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and dry finish.

From a bottle (375ml, 4 months, BB 21/6/22). Hazy orange, small white head. Barnyard funk, fresh apples, light lemony citrus on the nose. Refreshing palate is musty and very dry with lowish carbonation and lightly sour flavours. A great example of a young lambic-style beer that is usually only found on tap around Brussels.

Zoret (484) - Badalona, SPAIN - NOV 12, 2014

JorgeLee (2193) - Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2014
Bottle from BottleDog. Deep golden colour, high carbonation. Very aggressive souring, tasted like one particular souring bacteria dominated, doesn’t have the depth of the best lambics. Nevertheless quite refreshing and went down easily.
