12 ounce can into lager glass, unreadable can dating. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy bright golden yellow color, with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with incredible retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Awesome appearance. Aromas of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, mango, light pepper/pine, cracker, biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, mango, light pepper/pine, cracker, biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, grapefruit, mango, light pepper/pine, cracker, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, that increases through the glass. Very clean on lager flavors with zero yeast notes present. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately creamy/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous mouthfeel that is nice. Zero alcohol warming as expected of 5%. Overall this is a great hoppy American Pilsner style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering. snoworsummer (5626) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 2, 2016
From a can at the Gnarly Barley. Pours clear gold with a thick, frothy off white head. Tastes like citrus hops, resin, caramel malt, orange, and grassy. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like citrus hops, resin, caramel malt, orange, and grass. JDBaker11058 (2178) - Maryland, USA - MAY 29, 2016
appearance: light amber, with a frothy off-white head and decent lacing; doesn’t look much like a pils… aroma: fresh grass, some pepper, brown toast, saltine cracker, light cardboard. taste: toasted brown bread, bitter floral hops, grassy hops too, some pepper and earth and a hint of citrus. finish: high carbonation, drying hops make for a clean finish with a bit of lingering bitterness. notes: Didn’t feel like much of a pilsner; too dark and too toasty. Not a bad beer per se, but not my favorite interpretation of the style. Can from Chevy Chase Wine & Spirits.

Pours a golden yellow with a white head. Aromas of bread/malts/hops. Crisp hop flavor with hints of fruit/malt. stevoj (4966) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 18, 2016
Can from Whole Foods-Lamar. Kind of fruity for a pilsener, very citrusy, grapefruit. Pours out a hazy golden with huge fluffy head. Nice cereal malts come out deep in the flavor, but the citrus kind of distracts from the fact that this is a pils. Good stuff. altonbrownd (5898) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - MAR 12, 2016
Can from Perfect Pour. Amber body with big head. Nose is hoppy, grassy. Some spices. Taste is malty, caramle up front. Then gets hoppier. Nice citrus in the finish.
