Light unclear medium to dark orange amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light chocolate malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - orange, hop oil - cat piss notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 
33 cL bottle. Pours hazy to almost murky brown with a small tan head. Aroma is distinct citrusy hops, light roasted malt character. Light bodied, crisp citrusy hoppy and with a medium dry malt base. (bought at Kihoskh, Copenhagen). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is hops, fruits, some bready malts, wood a well as some slight saltwatery notes. Flavour is fruity, a bit yeasty as well as bready and crisp maltyness.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan,Stockholm. (as Vesterbro Rød) Hazy amber, brief head. Hugely attracrive gooseberry/lychee aroma. Dryish with light body and clean mouthfeel. Bottleshare at Chez Smith. Thanks to Colin. Hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry and has reasonable carbonation. Smooth malts, caramel and toffee. Modest fruits, ripe citrus. Light dry finish. Ho hum!
UPDATED: NOV 29, 2010 Bottle 33 cl. Pours amber with a slight haze and a lazing off-white head. Amazingly fresh and exotic aroma - the hops are really shining through. Medium body, some caramel and again these amazingly exotic hop accents from the Nelson Sauvin. Dry and hoppy finish. Delicious session beer. 021110
On tap. As "Mikkeller Vesterbro Rød". Hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Extremely pleasant hop aroma of exotic fruits. Light body, dry and peachy fruitiness leaving a dry bitterness. Very delicious. 8/3/7/3/15=3.6 281110
