DraftDodger (1707) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2016
Copenhagen 5/5 2016. 33 cl bottle from Meny. Drawing of a very talkative blonde lady (Saison Sally I presume) talking all life out of a poor guy while riding a car on the label. Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with big white head. Settles ad 1 cm thick layer of foam with lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is sharp and sourish fruit. Citrus mingling with something that smells like Belgian yeast. Light carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is sweet and fruity. A little lemonade. Medium bitterness in the aftertaste. Very easy to drink. Nice to be able to drink Saison Sally - and not have to listen to her.

From tap. Pours clear yellow with a light white foam. Grainy, yeasty and a bit metallic. Not good. Disappointed.

Sample c4. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of yeast, grainy, hay, dusty stale. Taste is yeasty, dusty, light bubblegum. Sweet and yeasty finish

(330ml bottle free as extra from kihoskh.dk, shared) Pours hazy pale gold with an average white head and lace. Aroma is quite yeasty, with a ’Belgian’ character of esters and light clove phenolics, some light citrus as well. Flavour is semi-sweet with clove, light stone fruit, a touch of bubblegum, orange peel and slight herbal notes. Never totally dries out, with a pale malt sweetness carrying through to the finish. Light to average mouthfeel and carbonation. Adequate but nothing that makes this saison stick out, perhaps too yeasty and off-dry as well.

Pale amber body with a white head.
Sour and fruity aroma and flavour. Light sweetness and bitterness. Somewhat sharp taste.
Medium body with average carbonation.

Yorker (2050) - Holstebro, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2015
33 cl bottle @ home. Pours slightly cloudy golden with a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are citrus, spices, and yeast - with a sweet finish.

TorbenJensen (1572) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 16, 2015
Roughly frothy ale which smells very delicious light hops notes mixed with orange. Tastes sweet berries, but also slightly bitter touch of orange peel. A very delicate saison has the right fruit sweetness with clear signs of yeast. It all passes to a gentle hoppy bitterness that keeps the relationship between sweetness and bitterness. Super delicious.

bottle from menu. cloudy yellow, small white head. very nice crisp saison and belgian yeasty aroma. spicy. faint citrus. flavor is belgian yeasty, saison yeasty, flowers from hops, and orange notes either from hops or the orange peel. beer flavor comes off as a little bit too sweet i think.

gorkogrlo (360) - Zagreb, CROATIA - AUG 6, 2015
Bottle. Yellow color, clear. Medium white head. In nose some fruity, grassy, orange notes. In taste dominate citrus notes with pepperness and brett character. Somekind of light body. Dry finish. Just right balance between bitterness/sweetness/sourness. Overall: good beer, but maybe missing some complexity in flavor. Good example of the style.
