Bottle, thanks bluus, 21/01/17. Pours a hale orange with a decent, off-white head. Aroma is orange, citrus, caramel, slight coffee. Taste is citrus, caramel, slight coffee. The combination doesn’t sound good on paper, but the coffee isn’t dominating, but a slight acidic addition to the flavor.

Tap. Hazy copper color. Medium size, off-white head, stays. Coffee, beans, caramel, green in aroma. Green beans, coffee, bitter, bit herbal in taste. Coffee beans and herbal bitterness in aftertaste. Messy brew. Happens.

Aroma: pine and weak citrus notes, something around sulfur, no coffee. Appearance: hazy golden color and white head. Taste: medium pine bitterness, citrus notes, resin, coffee notes, rather dry. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation. Overall: Rather disappointing, should be more intensive.

Bottle. Teku. Brown/reddish, medium hazy with medium to big, semi-thick head. Nice head retention and lacing. The appearance is not as bad as in Koppi barley wine so the rate is a little higher. Moderate hoppy aromas - tropical fruits, piney, citrus (grapefruit) which quite dominate this beer, despite the fact that I bought it over year ago. So first of all nice hoppy aromas, secondly some malts (honey-like, caramel) and in the end some light coffee notes. Taste is medium bitter, rather form the far middle of degustation and it’s intensifies. The beginning is rather malty with some semi-sweet accents. Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, finish is long, semi-bitter and semi-dry. In overall it surprised me with quite strong hoppy notes, which dominate totally coffee aromas. In taste and aroma it’s almost in 100% like IPA, the coffee mainly influence the appearance and partly the aromas. For IPA and hoppy geeks.

0,33l bottle from Beergium. Pours brown colour with smallish head. Aroma of fruits, oats, malts, coffee. Taste starts with fruits, has strong coffeeish aftertaste, a bit stingy. Doesn’t feel balanced, maybe not the freshest batch.

Keg (Copenhagen, Helsinki)
Hazy pale rusty colour, brief head. Kinda chilli-like beany aroma (not any heat, just the beany pod aspect. Watery palate, fizzy carbonation. Ugh, beany taste, yuck. Finish is better, more cakey. So yes, this is a beer that’s best when it’s not in your mouth. I say "beer", but there’s not much beer here; it’s beer with stuff added, where there’s more stuff added than beer.

Tap at Olhus Kopenhavn, Helsinki. Colour is deep cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Coffee, some fruits, hops and malts. Probably hoppiest coffee I have ever had. Confusing. Good or not good? Flavors are strong despite of mixed feelings.

(Keg at Ølhus København, 201601022) The amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and coffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were coffee, sweetness, malts, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste had coffee, sweetness and bitterness. A brew having coffee and bitter finish. Not my thing.

Excelente cerveza, a mi gusto sobrepasó mis expectativas. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
