An excellent IPA with an intense taste experience. It’s very aromatic to begin and turns bitter afterwards. humlelala (1375) - DENMARK - FEB 29, 2012
(33 cl bottle from Kommunal Øl Service) Pours dark brown bordering on black with medium, toffee head. Good retention and lace. Aroma is a very floral hoppy with notes of grape fruit(?) and a subtle, dark edge. More nuances but difficult to detect among all the smoking youngsters. Oily texture, medium body, soft carbonation and a long, bitter finish. Taste is dominated by fresh bitterness. thewolf (12631) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2012
Bottle, bought @ Mikkeller Bar, Cph.jesperhammer (4788) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 10, 2012
Pours completely black with a big, staying, creamy, light-beige head. Aroma has lots of pleasant citrus, grapefruit, resiny. Fresh. Nice mild roasted notes. Medium carbonation, pleasant dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Fairly light. Flavour is elegant, mild sweetness, softly roasted with some liqourice. Nice peachy, light piney, grapefruity hops with a nice citrus centre. Lovely lingering bitter finish, where the malt bill comes into its own. Lovely Black IPA.
10-MAR-2012, bottle @home, from "Ølbutikken".
Pours very dark brown, almost black with huge beige head that lasts and coats the glass.
Very hoppy nose. Grape fruit and pine. OK, some roasted notes as well, but hops dominate.
Same with the taste but the roasted malts are more evident, thougt. A touch of coffee and chocolate combined with the very strong hop profile.
Fantastic brew. tiong (7342) - Espoo, FINLAND - MAY 11, 2012

Pours pitch black with a smooth white head. Nice aroma of fruits, grassy hops, pine, lemon and roasty malts. Taste is very fruity and slightly roasty with a lot of berries, fruits and lemony notes. Finish is slightly roasty and bitter with fruity hops. Nice, well balanced, fruity Black IPA.
33 cl bottle @ hotel room in Copenhagen. BBE 25.01.2014.OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 28, 2012
Pours dark red, almost black color with medium beige head. Aroma of fruits, hops, toasted malts and lemon. Flavor of lemon, hoppy fruits, toasted malts and some sweet berryish notes. Quite nice and fruity brew.
No I have not. Bottle from the Kioskh of all Kioskhs. Big foamy light choco colored head. Body is dark brown with limited clarity. Grassy and light fruity hop nose, offset by some dryish powdery cocoa malt notes. Niclely roasted dark malt flavor profile. Tarry notes and hint of bitter coffee. A bold bitterness underneath. Fruity, resiny with some fine floral tones. Almost full. Nice juicy texture. Finishes just as roasty and fruity-bitter as I hoped. Now I’ve been Køssed! sunevdj (4094) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - MAR 5, 2012

330 ml bottle.
Pours a pitch black colour with a thick white head. Aroma of strong, juicy and sweet fruits with floral hops. Flavour of roasted malts, strong floral hops, sweet juicy fruits, strawberries and wood. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel and a long, bitter and roasty finish with juicy fruits. Probably the most fruity black IPA I’ve tasted so far. Great stuff.
