Bottle at Sorbon. Dark brown liquid with huge light tan head. Aroma of citrus, pine, pineapple, mango, coffee, ash, soap and a tiny bit chocolate. Taste is dry and medium to high bitter with notes of soap, citrus and some light ash. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Enjoyed this one. Svesse (8599) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 2, 2012
(Bottle, Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm) Black colour with lasting, frothy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with dark chocolate, liquorice, pine needles and dark rye bread. Malty, fruity taste with notes of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, dried fruit, liquorice and a piney bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. The expected piney bitterness is nicely balanced by a slightly surprising sweetish liquorice and malt character. Well balanced and really nice. gyllenbock (9177) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 23, 2012
Bottle bought in Copenhagen, June 2012.
Darker brown with a medium head. I think that this beer was nicely balanced, hops and roasted malt. Also chocolate and some dark chocolate. Pleasant, dry and bitter finish.

Oo this is good stuff. Poured from the bottle a nice dark color, with an off white head. Aroma is a very, suprisingly, pleasant combination of hops and roastyness. One of the better black ipas ive had in a while. phredrik (1024) - Copenhagen (formerly Aalborg), DENMARK - MAY 9, 2012
Bottle from Kihoskh. Pours dark brown with an enormous head, I guess because of the white platic cups. Aroma is very hop forward with citrus and pineapple, roasted malt presence with chocolate and coffee. Piney notes and zesty grapefruit also. Taste has sweet fruity hoppy notes, oranges and mango, a good deal of bitter coffee notes, a hint of chocolate. Very bitter on the palate. Good black IPA. _angst_ (4802) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 21, 2012

Smell is tiny sweet with roasted malts, wood, liquorice root, lemon balm, orange peal, dill, coffee, burnt caramel and hints f grapefruit juice and overripe lemons. Taste is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, wood, bitter chocolate, pine, sweetened coffee, grapefruit juice, lemon zest, resin, liquorice fudge and hints of sheet metal. Mouthfeel is smooth, tiny dry, slightly oily bitter and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, pine, coffee and orange peal. fonefan (49305) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2012

Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is crisp and a little dry. Soft creamy dark malts, touch of roast. Develops a crispy edge. Mild piney hops provide a lightness. Dry finish. Easy going and effortlessly drinkable.
