13/IX/13 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: 6/VIII/15 (2013-846)

Clear light orange beer, creamy solid irregular white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. aroma: lots of citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruit, bit grassy, sweet ripe mango, even lemonade. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity start, lots of citrus, lime, grapefruit, sweet white grapes, pretty bitter, piny hops, bit sourish. Aftertaste: lots of citrus, piny bitter hops, resinous, grapefruit, fruity ripe notes. Very nicely done, but not as good as last year’s citra hop bomb. ;-)

MiP (16083) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - SEP 13, 2013
Bottle, 5.9%. Fruity cat piss and mango aroma. Cloudy dark orange colour. Small white head. The flavour is roughly bitter, but in a good way. Fruity and woody acidity. Sweetish and isotonic finish. It might be the hops that give the good woody and citric note, makes it refreshing even though it is a sweetish and solid beer.
