Great beer that will be even better with some time, lots of hops aroma, piny, fruity, citrusy delicious American hops. Very sweet, but sweet like a 10% beer and the bitterness is enough to make it ok, and I expected a lot more alcohol taste for this, but it really holds its own, I mean it’s 14%, something you would never guess if you didn’t know. I liked it a lot! kirk36 (223) - Peabody, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 14, 2013
Cloudy amber hue with an expectation of a 120 equal. Yes, it is. Alcohol forward and hoppy wonderfully biscuity and full body. Buzz worthy.

HomerBeerOdysy (103) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 31, 2015
APPEARANCE - Opaque, cloudy, no head, some lacing, amber.
AROMA/SCENT - Hops, sweet, pine, malts.
TASTE - Hops, bitter, pine, nutty, caramel, brown sugar, bread, toffee
MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - Thick, no carbonation, smooth, creamy, warming, heavy, syrupy.
VALUE - $7.99 for 12-oz bottle. Good deal for import?
OVERALL/DRINKABILITY - ABV surprisingly well-hidden. I wish there was a bit more carbonation, but what do you expect at ABV 14%? ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 18, 2013

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Also available there bottled. ABV is 14%. Hazy orange colour, moderate white head. Lovely aroma of fruity and resinous American hops, also hints of leather and mild spices. Rich and warming mouthfeel, can’t say that the alcohol is not noticeable, but what do you expect from a 14% beer? Sweet and fruity (oranges) flavour, loads of American hops throughout, resinous notes, spicy and bitter finish. Extreme, maybe, but not perverted. Excellent beer! Bottle (33cl) from Vinmonopolet (Vika), Oslo. Slightly hazy orange/amber colour. Finger-thick white head that settles as a stable film. Lovely, intensely hoppy aroma with resin, bitter orange marmalade, tropical fruit, almonds, menthol. Full body, soft carbonation, slight alcohol burn. Admirably well-balanced taste with alcoholic sweetness, solid hop bitterness, and a fruity acidity. Long fruity/resiny/bitter aftertaste. A stunningly well-made beer.
