Bottle, unexpectedly shipped from my father—thanks so much, dude! It’s an 11.2 FL OZ/331 mL bottle containing an inky brown-black combination with an ascending, amazingly fluffy mocha head, 4½. fingers in length which gradually sank to just 1½.. I may have to stand back the aromas are so intensely complex, but what I get almost immediate is: charcoal bricks, chili peppers (it most certainly teases the nostrils), cardamom spiciness (keyword here: "earthy"), chocolate almond milk (ironically, I had bought some recently and the nose is quite reminiscent of that), Dutched chocolate, tangerine peels (yes, there is indeed some citrus in this bitch, especially on the nose), wheat flour, cinnamon rolls/doughnut glaze, celery sticks, aluminum (oh, you know what I fuckin’ mean), Kero syrup, wormwood, anise, avocados (strangely, the avocado comes through in the aroma really strongly; didn’t think it would), pancake butter, pomegranates, roasted malts, brown sugar, and limeade. Tastes deliciously well-rounded, bittersweet, roasted, nutty, charred, and leathery with notes of chili pepper heat, almond butter, avocados, bay leaves, dark chocolate, burnt hay, and spent grains. Ends bitter and earthy; hops, spruce tips, white tea and bacon grease by swallow. Transformative! And I was starting to think that Mikkeller didn’t brew any beer worth good money. Fantastic fill!
Black. Roasted malty aroma with spices, coffee notes and cocoa. Malty and highly roasted flavour, with spices and chili. Dryish taste that finishes rather bitter, with burnt malt, ash and more chili. Full body. Overall, a decent spiced porter. Seeems unbalanced and not that drinkable. Too dry and too bitter. I think Texas Ranger is a lot better than this one. ctipping (1926) - Florida, USA - JUN 20, 2017
750 mL bottle. Black body with an enormous mocha head. Smells creamy, roasty, spicy. Nice. Tastes spicy and peppery, sweet chocolate, creamy and roasty in equal portions. Nicely bitter in the back end. Medium body and creamy. Clearly, I do not get the individual ingredients, because what the hell does avocado leaf taste like? But it works. Dark....dark....dark....very flavorful! A bit harsh on your first drink but quickly grows on you.

Very Dark Brown pour, small tan head.
Roasted malty Nose. Taste is sweet as first, then hints of chocolate and chili.
Not bad. dzudohonor (134) - POLAND - MAY 29, 2017
backlog. Pachnie mleczną czekoladą, kawą i prażony słonecznikiem, smak: mocno wytrawnie kawowo, konkretnie nachmielone, gorzkie kakao, chilli delikatnie rozgrzewają na finiszu. Dobre.

The aroma is spices, chili, chocolate, very interesting. Pours very dark almost black with big light brown head fully diminishing and excellent lacing. The taste is a little sweet, sour then bitter. The body is full, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish bitter. Very Good!! beton (595) - Tarnobrzeg, POLAND - MAY 19, 2017

Dark brown-to-black body with a huge, frothy, brown head, mostly lasting with nice lacing.
Moderate-to-heavy malty (roasted) aroma with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, chili, spices and some (red) fruits.
Moderate-to-heavy sweet and moderate bitter flavour with a long lasting "chili" (in the throat) finish.
Medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation.
A pleasant surprise!
