Smooth sweet stout. I think I’m coming to feel that stouts should be neither of those things. Still, this is ok.

Very dark black with brown, creamy head. Smells of bark, toasted nuts, and molasses. Rather smoky, earthy taste with hints of resin and clove with only a dab of the milk in the background. A touch watery for such a drink, but otherwise, pretty unique for a milk stout.

33ml Bottle from Delhaze. Drank at home. This beer is way too sweet for my pallet.

brewberg (16) - Drammen, NORWAY - MAY 16, 2017
Complex with a lot of aromas from the malt. Hints of coffee, chocolate and caramel but also prominent roast with some smoke to it. Deep down there is also a trace of citric acidity from apple. Dark brown/black with a coffee creamed and frothy head. A sweet ale with also a prominent bitterness to it. The ale also have some acidity to it and because of the smoked roast it also has traces of salt. The ale is heavy and feels thick and oily in the mouth. The carbonation died of pretty fast, not sure if that was a bad thing though as the carbonation made the ale feel foamy in the mouth. Overall a tasty ale with a lot of complex tastes. The sugar is prominent, which it probably should but the ale lacks a bit of the smoothness and warmth I want from sweet stout.

PowY (1043) - AUSTRIA - APR 29, 2017
From tap at Salon Piva, Bratislava. Hazy brown color with a light brown head. The aroma of flowers and perfume. Medium very creamy body with a medium sweetness and a light bitterness. The flavor is malty with caramel and brown sugar and again perfume. Very astringent in the finish. Overall rather strange beer and not what I expected.

mzaar (3643) - Varberg, SWEDEN - APR 23, 2017
Flaska. Svart med ett beigt skum. Dofter av rostad malt, choklad och laktos. Detsamma återfinns i smaken tillsammans med lakritsrot. Sälta i avslutningen. Mjuk munkänsla.

Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Dość wodniste, dużo mlecznych i czekoladowych akcentów. Trochę puste.

nathanvc (696) - Brugge, BELGIUM - APR 6, 2017
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2017 Pours hazy dark brown/black with a brown, thick, frothy head that stays. Smells like coffee. The aroma contains cold coffee, sugar, roasted malts, nuts and milk. It tastes medium to heavy sweet and light toasty bitter. Slick and oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, long finish. Very good.

josanguapo (1920) - SPAIN - FEB 23, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 23, 2017 From miguel. In Teku glass. After dinner. Creamy, reminding coffee with milk. At first it seem pretty tasty, but as it warms up some torrefact notes appear spoiling it a bit
