Really tight nose. Thick mouth feel. Flavour wise its all up front. Fades a little to quickly.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Almost black (seems clear) with a big creamy tan head. A normal stout nose - roasted barley, light chocolate sweetness and some green hops. The taste is surprisingly sweet, but in a plain sugary way, enough roast and a fairly bitter hoppy finish. Not bad, but that sugar...

330ml purchased at 7 Eleven, Kittery. Raven feather with full thick, brown head, nice retention. Aroma of dark roasted malts, ash, sugar.

Flavor milk chocolate, cocoa, strong sweet lactose sugar aftertaste. Burnt grain. Medium body, great full mouthfeel and body. Pretty signature as far as style guidelines. Nice!

Draft at Vitamin B. Darkest brown with a massive tan head. Aroma is roast, molasses, coffee, semisweet chocolate. Quite sweet on the flavor, maybe a little too much so. Chocolate and coffee, sugary notes. Medium-plus bodied, very slick. Good but a little sweet.

My favourite milk stout, smooth, balanced, just like a cup of milk. A good choice as a start.

Deep brown, opaque. Dense tan stable head. Coffee, roast, earth, wine on nose. Medium body. The flavour is sweet, lactic, coffee, earth. Light bitterness. Quite good

Another solid offering from Mikkeller. Their non-IPA beers are getting better and are perhaps even more interesting.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Lasting, creamy, tan-coloured head. Pitch black in the glass. Modest dark malty nose, mid-sweet. Mixed taste of chocolate, oat, and lactose backed by a coffee note towards the ending. Bittersweet end, lightly roasted. Well bodied. Pleasant (Enjoyed on a hotel room in Harstad 27.10.2016).

330 ml bottle. Dark brown with brown head and plenty of lacing. Initially smooth, finishes with roasted taste.

Aroma; roasted malts, black malts, grass, dust, crispy bread, cocoa chocolate. Look; cocoa-beige head, black body, thick and crocheted lacing. Taste; roasted malts, berries, black malts, grass, milky chocolate, coffee note - leading to a roasted milky cocoa fruity finish, yes nice. Feel; good body, soft carbonation. Overall; really good, got a great brew on abv 6. [33cl.btl 6% BB.03.02.2019 [email protected] MyRating3700]
