Aroma is huge jammy raspberries and wet wood with some really sweet rich dark fruits and belgian yeast aromas. Taste is good but a bit too sweet with the fruit and the quad backbone. High abv is well hidden but just a bit cloying otherwise tasty.

Bottle 37,5 cl, BBE 23.04.2018. Pours dark brown in color with thick and creamy cappuccino head. Vinous notes at first - feels almost like some rum and dark ripe fruits being there mixed with some almonds, sweet malty notes, theres even some light wooden notes and hints of berries in aroma. Its just a wonderful start. And the nose is wonderful throughout the whole bottle, what a treat. Notes of red wine, some dark fruity sweetness and raspberry freshness in taste. Slightly tart mouthfeel. Underneath theres also some sweetish chocolatey notes and more vinous notes. The raspberry steps up a bit and it feels just more evident here than it was in aroma. Nice and long-lasting vinous notes in aftertaste.

Ruddy ruby brown pour with one finger of sudsy tan head. Absolutely wonderful nose. Tons of dried dark fruit with a nice fresh/sweet raspberry character. Rich toffee notes. Very nice flavor. Lots of dark fruit and even more raspberry. Lightly chalky notes. Medium full body and lightly tannic.
