Shared 12.7 oz. bottle poured to snifters, displaying a cloudy, dark brown color that showed maybe a touch of ruby highlighting at the base, with a frothy, tan layer of head foam that reduced down to a fairly persistent ring & film, and left some spots & strands of lacing. First impression was a noticeable hint of soy in the nose that disappeared as the beer breathed, then dark chocolate covered cherry, or in this case, raspberry, and some alcohol readiness. Medium bodied, with soft carbonation, the taste was initially dry, and continued with red wine notes, and cask bitterness & tannic astringency, as the alcohol got my attention, but remained somewhat in the background. Dryness followed through for the finale. Maybe a little age on the bottle, but interesting, and quite tasty.

Bottle at SSAN V. Dirty brown pour full of chunks. Aroma of tons of old raspberries, medicinal raspberry, light winey notes. Taste is pretty harsh, boozy, old rotten raspberries, lots of red wine, oak, medicinal notes. Palate is rich, full bodied with light carbonation. Bleh.

"Faaaaantastic aroma of raspberries and wine, with a little bit of sweet malt and yeast poking its head in there too. Slightly overcarbonated, but no hint of 10%. I think you are just so distracted by the awesome flavor, you dont notice any alcohol. Fruit forward and sweet, but not overly so. Well done! 9/12 still really good the 2nd time around but well sweeter and boozier."

From 0.375l bottle. BBD: 23/04/18. Pours murky brown liquid, contains medium to big particles. Small creamy tan to brown tan head. Aroma: raspberries, red wine with lots of tanine, malt, nice. Taste: medium sweet, light bitter, medium sour, red wine, strong tanine, raspberries, maltiness, minor coffee notes, medium bitter finish. Palate: full body, oily texture, soft carbonation, long tanine aftertaste. Overall: Very nice piece, harmonious, but could have less tanine and more other flavors.

Strong raspberry nose. Dark murky appearance. Heavy wine notes, very tannic. Tastes like a quad sour, if you will.

Bottle pour. Rich brown with beige head. Some webbing. Lovely. Raspberry and cork on nose. Some fruitcake. Warm. Full body. Taste starts tart, but tends towards the sweet. Some cherry syrup on finish. Hint of vanilla. Juicy. Dry finish.

375 ml bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a somewhat murky brown with a velvety head of khaki colored foam. The aroma has notes of slightly unripe raspberries, dry and earthy wine, kinda reminds me of the ports Ive tried. Taste reminds me of a really dry wine. I get a bit of alcohol spice. Some burn on the back of the throat. Moderate carbonation.
