Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Cloudy, thick, dark brown. White, dessert wine. Red, dessert wine, like black muscat. Add to that a hint of dark chocolate, and youre still nowhere near. Taste is sour. Dry. Light bitter. Its like a liqueur gone wrong. Definitely muscat barrels, though. Id put a pound on it...

Hansen (8535) - Assentoft, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2014
Dark brown with an off-white head, medium duration. Acidic aroma, notes of raspberries. Odd flavor, heavy acidic, rapsberries, light bitter finish, unharmonic, like medium beer that has been in too many barrels and so on.

What a fun experience this was. Met some nice people to talk beer with at Mikkeller Bar in Stockholm and bought this for all of us to try. I might be wrong (what with having been to Belgium and all) but I think this is my first raspberry flavored beer? Anyhow, it was a joy. I could really see myself becoming a brewer and then making this beer, just for me! I wont go into all the flavours, its too complicated for me, just want to say, gorgeous beer!

Flarra hos Mattias. Snyggt skum. Hallon och pannkaka i doft. Även nån ytterligare typ av husmanskost i doften. Svårplacerat. Gurka? Svag aceton. Inte god. Hallon i smak, i övrigt bara ett gäng oangenäma smaker. Sträv, bajs, vinös och aceton.

Bottle. Creamy off-white excellent fully lasting head. Red amber colour. MOderate bitter flavor. Barrel present not fantastic. Messy moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate and very fizzy. Winebarrels dominating over raspberry. Weird beer abd way too expensive.

Aroma is great tons of raspberry and yeast. Pour dark brown with a large light brown head. Tart and malty with a lot of raspberry flavors. Not a easy drinker big funky notes and a lot of alcohol present but still good beer.

magsinva (1197) - Virginia, USA - MAR 22, 2014
Bottle from Brusin Ales - pours a muddy brown with no head. Aroma has some understated tart raspberries. Solid, but a bit subdued, might be because I aged it for a year?

Bottle from Brusin Ales. Pours brown with a thin brown head. Big booze notes on the nose with some tartness as well as some raspberry as well. A touch tart on the tongue which is nice with a touch of wordiness. Not bad.
