Keg at Brewdog Camden. Warm brown chocolate colour with little golden head round the side of the glass. Aroma is packed with cranberries, bit of chocolate but very fruity. Lots of boozy richness in there too. Taste is sweet and sour at the same time. Lots of malty sweetness, but with the dry and tart cranberry. Maybe a bit of cherry too. Finish is very dry, with a slight medicinal/herbal element. Little bit of a fizz in the mouth as you drink it. Really lovely beer.

Københavnske Øldage 2011. Pours a drak brown with a small head and lacings. Sweet and tart with some bitterness. Aromas of grain, rye and cranberries. Also some wood aromas. Slightly bready. Hints of port. Medium to full bodied. Soft carbonation. Bitter finish. A bit like a Flemmish bruin.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar, Cph.
Pours murky dark brown with a lovely, staying, creamy, beige head that leaves wonderful laces on my glass. Aroma is oaky, there are some clear tannins and the cranberries are obvious. Mild caramel with some plums and light roasted malts. Low, but prickly carbonation, really lovely dry and creamy palate. Flavour is fairly sour with that wonderful extreme dryness from cranberries. Clear sharpness from the berries, mild sweet plums and raisins in the back. Oak dryness in the finish. There is a lot of cranberry character in here, but thankfully, I’m a sucker for cranberries - hence the high rating.

[email protected] Bar, Copenhagen. Quite much black colour with a small head. Aroma is liquorice, some berries, mild roasted and yeasty notes along with toffee. Flavour is alcohol, some liquorice, mild yeastyness, toffee and also some slight tartness and berries. Smooth and rather pleasant.

10/10 i mörkhet. Rökig och fruktig i lukten. Frisk, bubblig lite rökig med en smak av lingon. Lingonrökig eftersmak.

Keg at Brewdog. Jammy colour. Blackcurrant. A very strange flavour. Very fruity. Cranberry juice vibe. Sour and sweet. Very juicy. So tart. Delicious.

Draft. A murky red-brown beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of fruits, caramel, as well as fresh and over ripe berries. The flavor is very sweet with notes of with notes of fruit, caramel, over ripe berries, and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.
