I like beer, not wine nor cider. When I buy a beer, I expect a beer, not wine nor cider. This stuff is a good example of how to spoil a beer: from the excellent Monks Elixir to this extravaganza. An acid quadruple??? My God, Whats this? A quadruple that tastes to red wine? Is there a red wine that tastes like a quadruple? Didnt like at all.

Scopey (13010) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 11, 2013
Bottle at home. It pours murky deep brown with a medium beige head. The nose is musty, earth, mouldy wood, ripe cheese, sulphur, HP sauce, vinous and tangy green apple. The taste is earth, brett, oak, tangy fruit, vinous, berry, spice, alcohol warmth, brown sugar, raisin and date with a very dry, earthy finish. Full body, moderate carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Smells pretty nasty...tastes better though. Interesting for sure, but not something I would return to.
